MUHAMMAD’S QUR’AN DENIES THE CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS (6)
“…a reproach of men, and despised of the people…” (Psalm 22:6)
(…continues from part five…)
6) Davidic Holy Spirit inspiration is seen in Psalm 22:6-8 6) “But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. 7) All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 8) He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.” The physical trauma experienced by the suffering Messiah personally in the New Testament is a fulfillment of the centuries of vaticination. Isaiah 50:6 “I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.”
John 14:16-21 “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17) Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18) I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 20) At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” Jesus called God His Father. It is the Spirit of Truth that gives this assurance which the philosophy of Muhammad cannot receive. The gift of another Comforter, the Holy Spirit, is alien to Muhammadan Islamic teaching.
“And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, “O Children of Israel,” (As-Saf 61:6)
As-Saf 61:6 And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, “O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad.” But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, “This is obvious magic.”
Tafsir A) Narrated Jubair bin Mut’im [radhi-y Allahu ‘anhu]: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “I have five names: I am Muhammad and Ahmad; I am Al-Mahi through whom Allah will eliminate Al-Kufr (infidelity); I am Al-Hashir who will be the first to be resurrected, the people being resurrected thereafter; and I am also Al-‘Aqib (i.e. there will be no Prophet after me).” — [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 4/3532 (O.P.732)]
B) Narrated Abu Hurairah [radhi-yAllahu ‘anhu]: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “By Him (Allah) in Whose Hand my soul is, surely, the son of Mary [‘Isa (Jesus)] will shortly descend amongst you people (Muslims), and will judge mankind justly by the Law of the Qur’an (as a just ruler), and will break the Cross and kill the pigs and abolish the Jizyah [a tax taken from the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians), who are under the protection of a Muslim government. This Jizyah tax will not be accepted by ‘Isa (Jesus) [‘alayhis-salam] and all mankind will be required to embrace Islam with no other alternative]. Then there will be abundance of money and nobody will accept charitable gifts.” (See Fath Al-Bari) [Sahih Al-Bukhari, 3/2222 (O.P.425)]
‘Isa (Jesus), the son of Maryam (Mary) will descend as a leader of the Muslims and it is a severe warning to the Christians who claim to be the followers of ‘Isa (Jesus) and he will break the Cross and kill the pigs, and he will abolish the Jizyah (tax); and all mankind will be required to embrace Islam with no other alternative.
And when `Isa, son of Maryam, said: “O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah unto you, confirming the Tawrah before me, and giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.”…..Muhammad bin Ishaq recorded that Khalid bin Ma`dan said that some Companions of Allah’s Messenger said, “O Allah’s Messenger! Tell us about yourself.” He said, I am the (result of the) invocation made to Allah from my father Ibrahim and the good news `Isa delivered. When my mother was pregnant with me, she had a dream in which she saw a light emanating from her that radiated the palaces of Basra in Ash-Sham.”
This Hadith has a good chain of narration that is supported by other similar narrations.
Imam Ahmad recorded that Al-`Irbad bin Sariyah said, “The Messenger of Allah said,
I was written with Allah as the Last and Final of the Prophet, even when Adam was still clay. I will tell of the first good news announcing my advent, the (result of the) invocation to Allah made from my father Ibrahim, the good news `Isa conveyed, and the dream that my mother saw. The mothers of all Prophets see similar dreams.” (This is an abridged tafsir i.e. commentary)
David the greatest psalmist
His name, Muhammad means praiseworthy; Ahmad means one who praises Allah more than others; Al-Mahi means Allah will eliminate Al-Kufr (infidelity) through him; he is Al-Hashir – the first to be resurrected, the people being resurrected thereafter; and he is also Al-‘Aqib, after whom there will be no other Prophet. These are very good credentials, no doubt. Of the one hundred and fifty Psalms in the Bible, David alone wrote seventy-eight of them. Go through Davidic Psalms and you will be marvelled at the piety of David’s heart of praise. Show me the Qur’anic praises of Muhammad, not forgetting to add those contained in the Hadiths as well; and I will open the Biblical Psalms and you can judge for yourself which of the hearts of Muhammad and David is closer to the Almighty Creator. The Davidic Psalm 110 opens with, “The LORD said to my Lord, sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thine footstool.” That which was not intended for the ears of man, God allowed David to eavesdrop. The first LORD (in capitals) is the covenant name, JEHOVAH, of God. The second Lord with capital ‘L’ is ‘âdôn (aw-done’): ‘From an unused root (meaning to rule); sovereign, that is, controller (human or divine); lord; master; owner.’ The spiritual status of Jesus as the ʻÂdôn makes Him the LORD and Owner of all entities of creation.
Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. You were born in sin. Say this sinner’s prayer.
“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
