Jesus made it clear that He is more than a mere saviour; that He is truly Jehovah God. John 15:5-7 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6) If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7) If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” The bottom line, in this verse, is that “for without me ye can do nothing” and only God makes such asseveration and will never be found dwelling in the error of blasphemy.
Matthew 26:27-28 “And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” And a new covenant was established to erase the Adamic annihilating sinfulness, one sacrifice for all mankind and for all sins. Amen. Hebrews 9:22 “And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.” What is the word ‘remission’? It is aphesis (a'-fe-sis): ‘1. a removal. 2. (figuratively) a pardon, a release (from guilt and penalty).’ When Abel performed his sacrifice, it was the blood of a domesticated quadruped animal. Hanging on the cross of Calvary, the Lord God shed His salvific blood. Praise the Lord!
