Who Is The True Author Of Salvation? (Four)
Scripturally, universalism or syncretism is a mirage
(…continues from part three…)
4) How can universalism be right when hell is inevitable for those who would not accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour? Revelation 2:11 “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.” Revelation 20:14-15 “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.15) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
When a sentence begins with ‘but’ it means that the statement is not complete on its own. The reason why the perpetration of spiritual criminality found in the ‘fearful, abominable, sorcerers, idolaters and liars’ will end up in hell is because they are unlike the ‘overcomers’ of verse seven. Is hellish abode an event of eternality? Let us study the Bible. Daniel 12:2 “And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” ‛Ôlâm (o-lawm’) is the Hebrew for ‘everlasting’, meaning: ‘long duration, antiquity, futurity, for ever.’ The long duration of ôlâm is of the perpetuity of eternal future. Matthew 25:45-46 “Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Both ‘everlasting’ and ‘eternal’ have the same Greek aiōnios (ahee-o’-nee-os) with the definition: ‘without beginning and end, that which always has been and always will be; without beginning, without end, never to cease.’ Still on hell 2Thessalonians 1:8-9 reads, 8) “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: 9) Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;” proving the eternality of its occupation.
John 14:6
I do understand that we have different theological beliefs based on the didactic stance of individual’s religion of profession. I cannot be unwise enough to force my biblical orientation on anybody. Anyone, as free moral agent, has the volitional will to embrace any spiritual way of life. But it should, I understand, be known that anyone who jettisons the teachings of the Bible definitely does it at his own peril. Selah!
Prophet Zoroaster’s Theology: Zoroastrians believe that there is one universal, transcendent, all-good, and uncreated supreme creator deity, Ahura Mazda, or the “Wise Lord” (Ahura meaning “Lord” and Mazda meaning “Wisdom” in Avestan).[32] Zoroaster keeps the two attributes separate as two different concepts in most of the Gathas yet sometimes combines them into one form. Zoroaster also claims that Ahura Mazda is omniscient but not omnipotent.[5] In the Gathas, Ahura Mazda is noted as working through emanations known as the Amesha Spenta[25] and with the help of “other ahuras”,[33] of which Sraosha is the only one explicitly named of the latter category.[citation needed] (From Wikipedia).
If God’s protocolary documentation disciplines us to understand that “by their fruits ye shall know them”, the prophet of Ahura Mazda has evidently shown a marked distinction between Jehovah and Ahura Mazda. Ahura Mazda, the wise lord, albeit, all-wise this god worshipped by Xerses of Babylon lacks the quiddity of the Omnipotent Jehovah Jesus. It took eternality of power to have wrought the soteriology. Romans 1:20 “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” for we also understand that ‘eternal power’ is of the limitlessness of Almightiness.
Ahura Mazda (from Britannica)
A more graphic couch of God’s power is seen in Ephesians 1:19-21 19) “And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20) Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21) Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:” where the ‘exceeding greatness’ of His strength points to the veridicality of His Omnipotence, using four words: power, working, mighty and a second power, all of different definitions.
The first ‘power’ is dunamis (doo’-nam-is): ‘strength, force, capability, miraculous power.’ Energeia (en-erg’-i-ah) is the Greek for ‘working’ which means: ‘efficiency (of energy)’. The word ‘mighty’ is ischus (is-khoos’) ‘ability, force, strength (of body)’. While dunamis is in its latent form (dynamite for instance), ischus is the enormity of physical biceps projections, and chests of impregnable forces that tells you of individuals you cannot mess with. The second ‘power’ is kratos (krat’-os): ‘vigour, mighty with great power, valour.’ Kratos is the physical exertional proof of strength.
All of these are of ‘exceeding greatness’ where ‘exceeding’ is huperballō (hoop-er-bal’-lo): ‘to throw beyond the usual mark; absolutely exceeding all bounds: overdo, surpass, outdo.’ Megethos (meg’-eth-os) is the Greek for ‘greatness’, meaning: ‘magnitude, degree.’ Pauline huperballō megethos says that you should allow your mind to go as wild as imaginations will allow concerning power of strength; and the power of Jehovah will surpass it or them absolutely. God the Father used His Omnipotence to bring Jesus Christ back from death in order to actuate the soteriology. Amen. The God of the Bible is the true Author of salvation. The difference between Ahura Mazda and Jehovah is in the definitions of their names; one is ‘Wise Lord’ and the other is ‘I Am That I Am’. Jehovah is the covenant name of salvation. Jehovah means “One Who is, by His own power!”
Spiritual acquittal and discharge takes place only when one is born again. To be born again, say, with all your heart, this simple prayer:
“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
