Who Is The True Author Of Salvation? (Six)
(…continues from part five…)
6) Daisaku Ikeda, the founding president of community-based Buddhist organization Soka Gakkai International (SGI)[10] said: “The term storehouse conjures the image of an actual structure into which things of substance can be placed. But in fact it may be more accurate to say that the life current of karmic energy itself constitutes the eighth consciousness.[5]”
Unlike the first seven levels that cease when one dies, the eighth consciousness persists even after death. The ninth and final consciousness, known as the Buddha nature (or Namu-myoho-renge-kyo[3][14]), forms the foundations for one’s life. It is the amala-consciousness, meaning the “purest”,[4] and cannot be tarnished by any of the karmic energy from the previous eight levels.[3] Hence, a way of ridding oneself of negative karma is by rising above to the ninth consciousness.[12] (Wikipedia). As the ninth consciousness is the core of all energy, it also serves as the source for all mental and spiritual activity.[6] If one is able to attain the ninth consciousness, one’s soul can coexist peacefully with all lifeforms.[9]. I know what the Bible says concerning man’s philosophy. “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” This is the position of the mind of the Omniscience in Genesis 6:5. What is this word, ‘imagination’? It is yetser (yay’-tser), meaning: ‘1. a form. 2. (figuratively) conception (i.e. purpose).’
Machashabah (mach-ash-aw-ɓaw’) is the Hebraic word for ‘thoughts’, defined as: ‘1. a contrivance. (abstractly) intention, plan. (hence, negatively) a plot. (hence, positively) advice.’ When God created the first two original Adams, this is what the Bible says, “And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day” (Genesis 1:31). And in corroboration of this verse is 1Timothy 4:4 “For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:” mankind, therefore, was created in perfection until: “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat” (Genesis 3:6). Yes, man robed himself in an inordinate crave to miss the mark of Divine standard in Eden. It was an act of disobedience to the express word of the Creator and not because of an imperfect Eden.
“…the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them” (Genesis 3:21).
There in the Garden, God performed the ritual of salvation. “Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them” (Genesis 3:21). Now, how do I know that the coats of the animals were sacrificial elements? Genesis 4:7 reads, “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.” The word ‘lieth’ is rabats (raw-ɓats’): ‘to crouch (on all four legs folded, like a recumbent animal).’ And ‘sin’ is chatta’ah (chat-taw-aw’): ‘1. an offense (sometimes habitual sinfulness). 2. (also) the penalty, occasion. 3. (also) the sin offering of amends, a sacrifice of offering for making amends or reparation for an offense.’ Divine prescription for a spiritually ailing Adamic creature is the use of a recumbent animal for sin offering. We have a corroborating verse in 2Corinthians 5:21 “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” The word ‘sin’ in the Greek is hamartia (ha-mar-tiy’-a): ‘1. that which disqualifies one from receiving a portion in the prize; a failure to do rightly or completely; (by extension, by Hebraism) an offering for moral failure, for sin.’ The Lord Jesus is the consummation of chatta’ah, hamartia i.e. ‘sin offering’.
Confucius (551-479), founder of Confucianism
Human philosophy fails to address the sin question. Romans 3:23-24 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” for it says, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). How can anyone make a promise of life abundance, with all asseverative certitude, as Johannine tenth chapter of the tenth verse reveals, and the giver of the promise should not be the true Author of creationism? Without any smidgeon of doubt the One to Whom John 10:10 is credited to must of necessity be the very Personage of Genesis 2:7 “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” He that breathed by means of bârâ’ (create out of nothing), must find it quite easy to give to those who want it: abundant life.
Confucius: Confucianism believes that virtuous living fostered by conformity and harmony will give you heaven on earth. When people conform to the right way of living they will create a society that works well – a social paradise. There is no formal worship of a Deity or belief in the afterlife. Without “Me” – Christ – there is no harmonious conformity between heaven and earth.
Spiritual acquittal and discharge takes place only when one is born again. To be born again, say, with all your heart, this simple prayer:
“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
