Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

3)            Mark 16:15-16 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” The Great Commission, given to the Church by the Lord Jesus is, “Go ye into the entire world, and preach the gospel to every intelligent creature.” The gospel, according to Easton Dictionary of the Bible, is “God’s spell’, i.e., word of God, or rather good spell, i.e., good news. It denotes the welcome intelligence of salvation to man as preached by our Lord and his followers.”

Remove Jesus – God’s eternal spell of the soteriology – from the gospel and there is no salvation.

Hebrews 12:24 “And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. 25) See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:” and the word ‘mediator’ is mesitēs (mes-ee’-tace): ‘a go between, that is, (simply) an internunciator, or (by implication) a reconciler (intercessor).’ Before the Incarnation a sacrificial lamb got one forgiven of his sins. After the Old Testamentary order, a New Covenant, the blood of Jesus which speaks better than that of Abel came into being in Matthew 26:27-28 27) “And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28) For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”  For this reason we read in John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” making Jesus the only key to salvation.

“God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son” (1John 5:10)

1John 5:10-12 “He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11) And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” Salvation cannot be found in nowhere else, outside the eternality of the Son of God. Anyone who repudiates the biblical Lordship of Jesus calls God a liar. And that is how serious it is to reject the free salvation the only begotten Son of God came to our world to die for. In the LORD Jesus we live, move and have our being, the moment we get born again.

In His scriptural disquisition with Nicodemus, the great Jewish religious teacher, Jesus led him into amazing spiritual insight, which left Nicodemus in total stupor.

John 3:3, 7 and 8 read respectively: “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” Being born again is a spiritual regeneration: a total overhaul of the Adamic sinfulness, to the creation of a new gene that absolutely matches divine essence. One becomes irreproachably God’s next of kin. God’s desire becomes your will, because you are being controlled by the indwelling Holy Spirit.

John 10:8-10 8) “All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9) I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Conversely,  Jesus is saying that all those who also came after His incarnational event, the death, burial, ascension and session at the right hand of Majesty, who will be brandishing a religious outfit that does not accept Jesus’ Lordship of Sabbath and consequently the Saviour of the world are equally thieves and robbers. Great religious leaders who fall into this category of people are Zoroaster, Confucius, Gautama Buddha, Laozi and Krishna – whose appearances were before the days of Jesus Christ – on one hand, and especially Muhammad – who came after Jesus – who, ostensibly, did not partake in the Great Commission of Mark 16:15, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Only Jesus can save the soul of the sinner.

Get Jesus initiated by getting born again: pray this prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say,

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
