I asked earlier whether God created the Word. This theological thought raises premonishment of blasphemy. Saying that God created the Word hypothecates that God, the Creator, prior to the creation of the Word, the Almighty was dumb. An agreement with this suppositional blasphemy is of Satanism, with an agenda of driving you mentally towards the extirpation of God’s impeccability. There is never a smidgeon of seam in the personality of Jehovah and His divine existence. Absolutely complete in all ramifications of conceivability is the Christian God of the Bible. Is this Word just a mere abstraction, having a dwelling only in our minds and devoid of palpability of living entity of intelligence? Now, if this Light is “the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world” of John 1:9; how is this Light any different from James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”? Every Member of the Godhead is as the Almighty as any Other of the Trinity. This enigmatic Word of God is definitely not an abstract figment of the intelligent mind. What Does It Connote To Make God Happy? (2)

The Eden Garden is God’s house on earth, in which He placed Adam. God’s house is a place of worship. Spiritually, a Christian should not just attend Church services he must find something to do in one of the departments of its administration. This is where we speak of Labour of Love: in God’s House. The consistency of departmental voluntary work is so pleasing to God. This is what happens when you make God happy; it is found in 1Corinthians 3:14 “If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.” The word ‘abide’ is the Greek menō (men’-o): ‘to remain, to stay stand fast.” Sincerity of dressing and keeping is when one builds upon the foundation, not with hay, wood or stubble, but with gold, silver and precious stones: for Jesus Christ is the foundation. Rewards are proportionate to how you have dressed and kept the things that concern the Creator. Having fought the good fight, the material gold, silver or precious stones, when put to the fire test, he is holding a thoroughly purified object of his victory. The joy you put in God’s heart dances over and over on the Divine mug of the Father; the Father looks at the Son, He catches the Divine fun; He places it on the visage of the Holy Spirit’s. The very young Regional Pastor A. A. A. Alao and I saw one another and washing all over us was this effervescent smile on the faces of two bosom friends. In the same tenour, doing the will of God engenders a certain transporting spiritual affinity between the Creator and His intelligent creation. One hardly sees the connotative essentiality dwelling in the feat of putting smile on the Divine face of Jehovah. The consistency of your labour of love in His vineyard or otherwise does something to Him. You endear yourself to the eternality of His essence. You have, in fact, made friends with His Omniscience which aided the sagacity of Solomon. The LORD’s Omnipotence becomes your backbone. His Omnipresence takes care of everything that concerns you everywhere – all because you have made it your concern to make God happy. You see, growing up, I turned so philosophical. One of the philosophical fantasies of my belief was that Lucifer must either be as powerful as the LORD God or has something with which he exercises a certain leverage to enable his incorrigible pursuit of Satanism without ceasing all these millennia. My Adamic understanding continued to wonder why God continues to put up with this untold, horrendous global corruption. It was like the Almighty cannot do anything to stop the Devil’s maniacal crave. Did He not know that His friend, Lazarus, was dying? Why would He wait for four whole days after the death of His friend before showing up? He wanted to prove His Omnipotence and His Omnipresence essence. His Omnipotence raised the dead Lazarus; and His Omnipresence went down to the land of the dead, even Abraham’s bosom, to bring the dead Lazarus back to life on terra firma once again. For two reasons God adopted the tripartite manifestation of the Godhead. The Trinity was not just for the fun of it: it was first for Himself, then for the salvation of man. Relationship does attract the concept of I-It, I-Thou and the plurality of We-You. The second reason for the Trinitarian quiddity is strictly for the actuation of the soteriology. God knew man will suffer his free moral agency to be infected by Satanism. The Creator had foreknown the remnants who would receive Jehovah Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It has been decided among the Members of the Godhead that the Father must be seated eternally on the celestial throne. God the Son, the direct Creator, took it upon Himself to perform the sanguineous substitutionary Golgotha sacrifice, while the Holy Spirit would be seated in the holy of holies in the Jerusalem Temple, receiving the latria due to the God of Israel. Grace, an uncommon, unmerited favour from God, is what must account for David’s unexpected victory. It was important for the Holy Spirit to direct David to take a visit to the brook. At the brook, he picked five stones: five stands for the grace of God. All that David had to do was to do the spiritual needful: he showed an unwavering faith in Jehovah and making sure he spoke the last word – out of faith – to the enemy. After having spoken the last word, necessary for a Christian when the Devil comes with his war of words of derailment, David threw one of the stones and God did the rest and Goliath, who defied God’s children, fell down: dead. David did not use two stones at a time. Four being the number of creation, David left that number of stones: giving room for God to create a miraculous and deadly path to Goliath’s forehead. Knowing that Adam would run foul of His word, and because He must save an Adamic remnant, He issued a reenactment of soteriological protocolary captioned “election of grace.” Salvation of man remains graciously an act of Him, through Him and to Him.
