Christlike Solomonic reign

5)            Solomonic enthronement is a replica of the millennium Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The forty years of Solomon’s reign was so peaceful that not one war entered Israel. Solomon made the mistake of his marriage to daughters of heathenism. 1Kings 11:4-6 4) “For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. 5) For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. 6) And Solomon did evil in the sight of the LORD, and went not fully after the LORD, as did David his father.” Before his death, Solomon wrote, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, the Book of Ecclesiastes.

God would not even make him face the consequence of 1Kings 11:9-10 9) “And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, 10) And had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he kept not that which the LORD commanded.” Solomon was guilty as divinely charged. And the LORD God hit the table with the gable of His sentence. “Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant. 12) Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father’s sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son. 13) Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen” (1Kings 11:11-13).

THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

Let us look at the theological quiddity involved in these verses. Is God guilty of partiality, in letting guilty Solomon off the hook of the consequentialism of his sin? The answer to this is purely theological. God had, before Adam, decreed that Christ must redeem mankind. That the Antichrist must have his seven years of global rule to effect the final punishment for Israel’s apostasy. After the seven years, Christ must come, overthrow the government of Satanism, sending both Lucifer and his Antichrist son to hell; and rule for one thousand years of perfect peace.

David, coming out of the tribe of Judah fulfilled Jeremiah 23:5-6 5) “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. 6) In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” What did God say through His prophet? “Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father’s sake: but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen” (1Kings 11:12-13).

David: a man after the heart of Jehovah

For the sole reason that David comported himself to fit into the Christ role of the King – if David did not succeed Jesus would not enter into that office, meaning God would have to look for another to foreshadow Christ. It was actually not about good king David or the proven sagacity of Solomon, it is about the Christ, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. The scriptural pattern must be strictly followed. It is the design of the Divinity, ergo, God will look like a liar if it goes unfulfilled. Solomon sought God in diligence; he misbehaved and received due sentence. Divine favour, on account of an immutable prophesy, must ensure that Solomon will keep the twelve tribes as long as he lived.

Satan, the enemy, has access to our mind realm where he deposits all kinds of misleading thoughts. Those who fear not the LORD God warm up to satanic deceitful ways. Trapped. The people whose hearts are after the will of the LORD God will shun all satanic advances, ready to do the will of Jesus, as saints of the Most High, with all their hearts, minds, strengths and thoughts. Amen.

Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. Say this sinner’s prayer.

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
