Glaring Possibility Of M.K.O. Abiola’s Death (1)

Chief M.K.O. Abiola, casting his vote in the freest and fairest election.
1) I believe very strongly that one of the major reasons for Chief M.K.O. Abiola’s death is tied to his last days’ true embrace with the Christian Bible. This business mogul turned politician was a prominent Muslim. So highly placed was Abiola that he held supereminent Islamic title of Bàbá Àdínì of Yorubaland. You cannot be a nominal Muslim to have this great title bestowed on you. This man was a diehard adherent of Islam such that it got reported that, out of Islamic hatred for Christianity, he sunk a very large imported shipment of the Bibles, enroute Nigeria, in the deep sea. Arabian Allah was his religious choice of reverent worship. There is no doubt, in my mind, that MKO, as was fondly called, strongly believed in the Muhammadan slogan, “Die not but as a Muslim.” He had an encounter with Reverend Chris Okotie, the Pastor of The Household Of God Church.

Abacha incarcerated the President Nigeria never had.
According to the erudite pastor of Household Of God Church, when General Sani Abacha confined M.K.O. Abiola to military detention for publicly demanding a stepping down of Abacha’s military rule and be installed as Nigeria’s President for democratically winning the June 12, 1992 general election; Chief Abiola refused to grant anyone an audience while in gulag, not even any family member. The pastor revealed that when the Chief decided to see anyone, it was just one person he insisted on seeing: Reverend Chris Okotie. Chris Okotie revealed that he advised him that the only strategic thing Abiola could do was to tell the Military Government that he was relinquishing his mandate. “They will free you,” the Pastor told M.K.O. “After that you will travel to the United Kingdom, where you will fight for your mandate from abroad.” And, “The Chief, with whom we were trusted friends, agreed with my advice,” the Pastor concluded.
The next thing Reverend Chris Okotie did was to approach Major Hamza Al-Mustapha to tell him that the Chief wanted to speak with him. When the Major approached Abacha with Abiola’s decision, the Pastor said Abacha said that if Abiola no longer intended to insist on becoming President, then he longer had any case with his government; and the Nigerian Military Head of State instructed Major Hamza Al-Mustapha to begin the necessary documentation of M.K.O.’s release. An unexpected problem raised its ugly head when the arrested politician’s son, Kola, read in the newspapers that in agreement with Okotie’s advice, his father had relinquished his presidential mandate. Kola, speaking on behalf of M.K.O.’s. family, vehemently went against his father’s decision, insisting that Okotie was not a member of Abiola’s family. Abacha heard that and went furious with rage saying, “I don’t want to hear anything about Abiola again; keep him in detention.” Kola Abiola destroyed the well-planned strategy of getting MKO to be the President of Nigeria.

Rev. Chris Okotie, Pastor: HOUSEHOLD OF GOD CHURCH
Now, knowing what Reverend Chris Okotie will never fail to do, I know that nothing would have stopped him from presenting Jesus to Alhaji, Chief, Dr. M.K.O. Abiola, Baba Àdínì of Yorubaland, while in detention.
Long before then, Pastor Chris Okotie had invited M.K.O. to an event in the auditorium of The Household Of God Church. While in the Church auditorium, M.K.O. received a call. Guess where the call came from? It came from far away Saudi Arabia. The call came from the Saudi head of government, wondering what he was doing in a Church, and chiding M.K.O. who was aiming to vie for political post, he ordered Abiola out of the Church. Abiola was told that his refusal to comply would cost him his presidential ambition. When an evidently shaken Chief Abiola went into Okotie’s office to inform him of his inability to stay for the event, the Reverend said he told him, “You must stay for this event. I want to present your political ambition before the LORD God.” The pastor continued, “If you leave because of this threat, you will never be the President of Nigeria. Abiola weighed Saudi Monarch’s influence against Okotie’s talk and he apologize for not staying. Abiola never lived to get sworn-in, as the President of Nigeria, in an election known as the freest and fairest, which even his opponent, Tofa, who congratulated him, knew Abiola glaringly won. Till today, an ailing General Ibrahim Babangida cannot explicitly tell Nigerians how and why he, as the military president, annulled the best ever election in the country.

Moshuud Kasimawoo O. Abiola, President Nigeria never had.
This is the solemn account of Mrs. Akerele, one of the legal team of Abiola’s court defence titled: What I discussed with M.K.O. Abiola before he died – Akerele Published on November 5, 2017 By Seun Opejobi Daily Post: “At that time, he was already in the dock; so, I took a small pocket Bible to him there. I told him that I was sorry I never discussed life after death with him prior to that time, and that I just wanted to give him the Bible which would be of great use to him in prison.
“After I said that, he put his hands into his pocket, brought out the same type of Bible I had given him, and he said, ‘Mrs. Akerele, I have seen the light.’
“That was my last discussion with him, and it also happened to be my most memorable day of the trial.”
What light did M.K.O. Abiola see? He saw the Light, the True Light that lights the life of everyone coming into the world. Abiola, the Bàbá Àdínì of Yoruba, saw Jesus by faith, believed Him and received Him as his Lord and Saviour: thoroughly saved.

You can be part of the Divine conjugal bliss by being born again. Say this prayer from your heart, believing every word.
Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that Jesus died for my sins and You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I receive Him as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory, Amen.
