What The Word Of God Says

opened_bibleThe word of God, as it is encapsulated, in the holy Bible, has no contradictions. If you know of any contradictory verses of the Bible please do send them to me, via my contacts, and I will gladly explain, showing from scriptures why and how that which looks contradictorily to another verse is not a contradiction. God’s word is clear and unequivocal. What accounts for its seemingly contradiction(s) stem(s) from one fact: adding to or subtracting from God’s express rhema.
And Satan said, “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne ….” Isaiah 14:12-15, in clear contradiction of the rhema of Jehovah (Exodus 20:3) because he, Satan, desired to sit on a throne and to receive worship. A created being should not receive worship; it is an affront to the Majestic rule of the Almighty. When the Woman said, “….neither shall ye touch it…” Genesis 3:3, she run her mouth in contrary to God’s simple instruction of, “…thou shalt not eat of it…” Genesis 2:17. God also said, in Genesis 2:17, “….thou shalt surely die,” but check out the words of the Devil, in Genesis 3:4, “Ye shall not surely die,” where a tiny three-letter ‘not’ subtly changes God’s direct command.
Rather than heed God’s solution to his spiritual derailment, when God told him, “Sin lieth at the door,” Genesis 4:7, Cain rejected God’s aid and went away to build (sounding like good achievement) his own city: of an evil world. The word ‘sin’ in Genesis 4:7 is from the Hebrew word hattat meaning: sin, wrong, iniquity, sin offering, and purification offering. Cain chose not God’s life line (of a lamb’s sacrificial sin offering) to process his purification. He chose to be enlisted in Satan’s army, a service which will ultimately end in satanic worship, which Lucifer had desired, Isaiah 14:14.
One old prophet did not find it difficult to trick a young prophet to change God’s word in 1 Kings 13:1-24. In 2 Chronicles 18:10-34, we see, two prophets, Zedekiah and Micaiah. Like many Bible teachers of today do we see Zedekiah. The religious leaders of Jesus’ days knew not the word. Cerinthus spread docetic heresy even in the reverential presence of John, the apostle. And we hear of Simon Magnus going to Peter to purchase the miraculous power of the Holy Ghost. What would those teach? God’s word is, “…turn not to the right hand or left that thou mayest prosper…,” Deuteronomy 28:14 and Joshua 1:7. God’s instruction to Joshua in chapter one, verse seven leads to the prosperity to be expected in the eighth verse. So many church leaders are very, very prosperous. Is the source of the huge wealth from a sincere honesty or by having shifted just a little bit or very far from the kernel of God’s intentional command?
Two ways there are by which we study the word of God: you either read out of it or read into it. Rev. Chris Okotie taught me this. To read out of it is to take the kernel of the intent of scripture and apply it didactically or otherwise. When you read into it, what you are doing is adding, as you personally deem fit, to scripture. This method runs contrary to Deuteronomy 28:14 which will not, as far as God is concerned, lead to the actualization of the goodness of Joshua 1:8. Unfortunately, many teachers, evangelists, prophets and pastors, and those who, in these days, designate themselves as apostles, employ the ‘reading into it’ at retreats, conventions, crusades, house fellowships and churches. Paul mentions itchy-eared Christians (2 Timothy 4:3).
The spirit of reading into scripture method is a deluge of fuel, ever keeping the itching ears in constant supply of new ideas, revelations and worship methodologies: and the beat, certainly, goes on, you will agree with me. Largest crowd, will therefore, mill and press upon centres of the disseminators of such ‘Christian walk’. Large crowd is tantamount to great financial wealth! For this reason, will they continue to fashion out teachings almost every week. Most of the time when you hear, “In our church we….” or “In our church we do not….,” they more often stem from the ‘reading into it’ syndrome.
Very few show the trait of ‘read out of it’, unfortunately, because they have been drowned by nefariousness of the uncountable who are in the serious business of anomalous teachings: the chief being Catholicism, followed by philosophers who birthed Liberalism e.g. Kierkegaard, Schleiermacher, Tillich and the notoriety of Nietzsche. 2 Timothy 4:3 was taught, first to a pastor, Timothy: for it is the business of the church, through the instrumentality of the shepherd in charge of the congregation to teach the truth and save the people from the itch which Satan sticks into ears. Satan shoots the dart of itch and makes sure that he provides the personnel that will serve scratchy of the infected ears of unfortunate souls.

By the grace of God this medium will teach, showing you from scripture, the truth contained in the holy writ. To understand the word of God, the context in which the scripture is written is key. The names of the characters and places play good roles as well. Please keep your comments and questions coming into this site and you will thank God for it. Amen. I love Jesus!
