What Does It Connote To Make God Happy? (2)

The Eden Garden is God’s house on earth, in which He placed Adam. God’s house is a place of worship. Spiritually, a Christian should not just attend Church services he must find something to do in one of the departments of its administration. This is where we speak of Labour of Love: in God’s House. The consistency of departmental voluntary work is so pleasing to God. This is what happens when you make God happy; it is found in 1Corinthians 3:14 “If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.” The word ‘abide’ is the Greek menō (men’-o): ‘to remain, to stay stand fast.” Sincerity of dressing and keeping is when one builds upon the foundation, not with hay, wood or stubble, but with gold, silver and precious stones: for Jesus Christ is the foundation. Rewards are proportionate to how you have dressed and kept the things that concern the Creator. Having fought the good fight, the material gold, silver or precious stones, when put to the fire test, he is holding a thoroughly purified object of his victory. The joy you put in God’s heart dances over and over on the Divine mug of the Father; the Father looks at the Son, He catches the Divine fun; He places it on the visage of the Holy Spirit’s. Of eternality is the jocundity that our sincere dressing and keeping of His Word present to the Most High.Read More

PROVIDENTIAL GIFT AND CALL (TWO)

In Acts Chapter two, the Church of Jesus came into being, imbued with the vibrancy of the Holy Spirit, Who put the human administration of the nascent Church in the able hands of the Apostles, who carefully nurtured her into adulthood. Having weaned the Church into the state of accountability, the Apostolic Fathers in turn handed the continual growth of the Church into the Holy Spirit led Pastors of various local assemblies. The gift and the call of every Adamic intelligence, before God, remained untampered with: for it is without repentance. Till he died at age one hundred and seventy five years, Abraham never stopped being the friend of God and His prophet. What Moses got called into, in ecclesiastical and political offices, he continued to hold even when oppositions came left, right and centre forty years after, at age one hundred and twenty years. This is probably the reason why many Christians just cannot fathom why the soteriology, a Providential phenomenality, is of eternality in essence. The facticity of being born again is a gift, waiting for the day the individual will hear the altar call and will stand up to tie the divine nuptial knots with Jesus Christ, becoming the LORD’s mystical body.Read More

Christianity Is The Only Way To Salvation (five)

I hear some people make asseveration that Christianity is not necessarily linked to every earthly problem. Quite untrue, I must make unteachable, the didacticism of wrong mindset of human calculation. Christians are followers of Christ; they follow Him because they are well aware of the One they have decided to follow. Does it occur to human reasoning that the first human couple was a practitioner of Christianity? They were God’s children. Jesus said to His disciples, “When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name;” and this verse definitely laid the foundation of divine brotherhood, in Luke 11:2. If the first of human creations were made in the likeness and also the image of the LORD God who entranced Eden every cool of the evening, is there any cause not to believe that they bowed in the latria before their Creator, who happened to be the pre-Incarnation of Jesus Christ? If the prototypes worshipped and followed the Christ, Christianity is irrefragably the established way of life in the agreed counsel of Godhead, even as it obtains in heaven.Read More

Conjugal Gist (8)

I am not being chauvinistic in my assertion that, "It's a man's world." Every entity of the Homo sapiens emanates from a family, whose headship must be the male of the conjugal relationship, whether responsible or totally irresponsible. At his death, the woman takes over. 'House,' bayith (bah'-yith) is a masculine noun, meaning 'a house (in the greatest variation of applications, especially family, home etc.' Remember also that the wife, 'ishshâh, speaks of a circle that protects the husband, 'ı̂ysh?Read More
