The Church is God’s tabernacle. It is the only sacred concourse of the redeemed in the fellowship with the Divinity. The first time the ‘Church’ appears in Scripture is in Matthew 16:18 “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” The call out of the Church makes the members of this assemblage a new species of humanity.
