The Oriental traditional kiss is a show of allegiance to the ruler. Had Muhammad received the verses of the Qur’an from the Jehovah of Christianity, Allah would never have allowed him to make anathematic pronouncement of, “may Allah’s curses, anger, torment and punishment be upon them” i.e. Jews, for believing in the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
