*6*        If your husband forbids you from taking a paid job and he says to you, “Stay at home,” agree with him. You are a ‘help meet for him;’ do not forget. Believe this is the best way you can serve Jesus in his life. Do not see it as being caged like a zombie in his house. It is your home as well. You co-own it. And one stark reality….I mean….the scriptural truism about a wife is that her new conjugal life is tied to her husband’s. She is designed to do her husband’s bidding in realising his dream. This is the reason why you cannot marry a man whose dream you cannot live or do not understand.

Wicked angels married unwary daughters of men

Marriage is a serious business. God used it to trap Lucifer for a divine judgment in the Garden of Eden. Sacrificial lambs were killed to save the first couple all because the bride of Christ will be saved. The fruit of the womb that came from the demeritorious union of the fallen angels and women of the earth was sheer wickedness, intended not only to mock God’s institution, but to block the coming of the Lord Jesus by polluting the earth with satanic Frankenstein of half-angels, half-human freaks of mischief. God, in His own wisdom, had no choice but to annihilate the destructive plot against His bride.

There were probably over two million people on earth then. Eight obedient souls were saved, to bring God’s dream to pass. The head of that family was Noah, his name means ‘rest.’ In HIS Church God has found His rest. Jehovah did not think of any rest until He had created Adam and the woman, the first earthly Church: for with them, He knew His eternal Church had come into being. There were eight souls. Eight being the number of a new beginning, with the Church a new species of God’s people had come into being. They were preserved in an ark. The Hebraic word for ‘ark’ is tebah (tay-baw’): ‘a treasure box.’ It is for this treasure that the great Merchant, the LORD God, had to sell all He had to get the pearl (Matthew 13:46).

The good Shepherd is the Bridegroom

For the actuation of this conjugal gist Christ came to woo His Bride. Finding her unsuitable for celestial citizenry He had to succumb to the substitutionary, gory death of the cross of Calvary. He rose up for the rejuvenation of the holy bride. Eve’s evil deed was undone. Amen! He ascended to heaven, paving the way for our elevation above the angels of God’s celestial assizes. At His session, we were provided a seat at the right side of the Majesty. Today the bride of Jesus, the Church, is the mystical body of Him on earth. Jesus left His body on earth to engender His holy presence and worship. Amen!

As long as we remain on this earth the Antichrist cannot unleash his heinous dominance upon the world. We must be taken away first (2Thessalonians 2:7). Two captains cannot man a ship. The Church represents the Lord Jesus, the soon coming King of kings and the Lord of all lords; the Almighty. We are the new creation. This conjugal gist is what God kept the top most secret, shown not to any of the prophets of the Old Testament. Ephesians 3:3-5, “How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4) Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) 5) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;”

To the Church it is given to reveal the mind of God. Ephesians 3:10 “To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,” and this is the mystery: Ephesians 5:31 & 32, “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32) This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” Only the Church teaches the real truth: 1Timothy 3:15, “But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”

                 The word ‘pillar’ is stulos (stoo’-los): ‘a post (“style”), that is, (figuratively) support.‘ It comes from στύω stuō (to stiffen; properly akin to the base of histēmi (his’-tay-mee): ‘to cause or make to stand, to place, put, set).’ What is ‘ground’? It is hedraiōma (hed-rah’-yo-mah): ‘a support, that is, (figuratively) basis.’ Hedraiōma is from a derivative of hedraios (hed-rah’-yos) a derivative of ἕζομαι hezomai (to sit); sedentary, that is, (by implication) immovable.’ ‘Truth’ is alētheia (al-ay’-thi-a) which means: ‘verity, by extension reality.’ Jesus is the truth, the reality of the Godhead. The Church, the bride of Jesus, is the only authorised institution to reveal the reality of the immovable, good news of salvation and the manifold wisdom of Jesus, the last Adam -the Saviour of mankind.

You can be part of the conjugal gist by being born again. Say this prayer from your heart, believing every word. Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe in my heart that Jesus died for my sins and You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I receive Him as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory, Amen. (…to be continued…)
