In a country where you’d find it extremely difficult to absolve just two of the past and present generals, under the administration of President Buhari, of defalcation, Boko Haram must be kept in business.

They won’t release Leah Sharibu: she’s just too unfortunate not to have Aishat Buhari, the country’s First Lady, as her mother. Sad! As the good Lord liveth, Leah, you will be released soon! Soon, to be reunited with your loved family. Amen!

Google to find out the huge chunk that left Nigeria immediately after graduating from Medical Schools just last year! Buhari’s ‘Next Level’ of APC is an enemy to their professionalism.

Companies are in dire straits! Why? These politicians don’t love Nigeria. They are dwellers in the gemütlichkeit of their enthroned malversation.

One aspirant who loves Nigeria is Reverend Chris Okotie! Vote him if you love Nigeria. Allow righteousness to exalt Nigeria. Amen!

Shall we look into the Scripture? It says in Proverbs 14:34, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” The word ‘righteousness’ in Hebrew is tsedâqâh (tsed-aw-kaw’) ‘rightness (abstractly), subjectively (rectitude), objectively (justice), morally (virtue) or figuratively (prosperity).’ This tsedâqâh comes from the root tsâdaq (tsaw-dak’) ‘to be (causatively make) right (in a moral or forensic sense).’ Gôy (go’-ee), the Hebrew for ‘nation’ does refer usually to ‘a foreign nation; hence a Gentile.’

Divine choice of Shem of the Jewish Israel, where the Lord did His incarn, turned the progenies of Japheth and Ham to gentiles. ‘Sin,’ (khat-taw-aw’), means ‘sinful (habitually); sin offering (sacrifice).’ The word ‘reproach’ chêsêd (kheh’-sed), from Hebraic scripture, is: ‘goodness, kindness; by implication (towards God) piety; rarely (by opprobrium) reproof, or (subjectively) beauty.’ Le’ôm (leh-ome’) is the English word for ‘nation’ and it means: ‘to gather; a community.’

The loveless Cain

The sedulity of reinspection of Proverbs 14:34 wants me to zero in on chaṭṭâ’âh and chêsêd because of their Hebraic interpretations. Chaṭṭâ’âh, which is the same dictum employed by the LORD God when He told Cain, “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him” [Genesis 4:7], desiring him to come to Him with a ‘sin offering’ to receive forgiveness and consequently live a life of prosperity, tells me what God expects of rulers of governments. From the Bible dictionary chêsêd i.e. ‘reproach’ is more of ‘goodness and kindness’ according to Hebraic lexicon.

Judging by this definitions, the practicality of this verse, before the Almighty, should be rendered thus: chêsêd (to the populace) is the chaṭṭâ’âh (before God) for the le’ôm (the people).

Goodness, kindness and mercy towards the ruled by the ruler is a sin offering –an expiable act before God’s proclivious judging eyes. Check this out. European, American and Asian governments take good care of their citizens hence the huge developments recorded in their lands. Amen. Most of these nations don’t care about the Bible. But, for the simple fact that they are doing the right things for the people, prosperity smiles on them!
