PROVIDENTIAL GIFT AND CALL (ONE)

Heeding Holy Spirit’s ‘call’ makes one a Christian.
1) Eternal preconception of soteriology tends to account for Pauline treatment of God’s modus that places the ‘gift’ before the ‘call.’ Does it not follow logical intellection that a call should precede the attendant gift? God had already made up His mind to rejuvenate the man, whom He knew would fall, and from eternity had ordained him for eternal life. Man could not afford this life, ergo, it must be by grace: free! It must, of necessity, be an unmerited favour to have Scriptural accreditation, owing to the hopeless Adamic fall! Romans 11:29 “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.” The first word, ‘for,’ is gar (gar’): ‘(properly) assigning a reason.’ ‘Gifts’ comes from the Greek word charisma (khar’-is-mah): ‘a (divine) gratuity, that is, deliverance (from danger or passion); (specifically) a (spiritually) endowment, that is (subjectively) religious qualification, or (objectively) miraculous faculty.’
A feminine noun is the invitational ‘calling’ which is klesis (klay`-sis): ‘1. a calling 2. (specially) a divine calling 3. (figuratively) an invitation 4. (by extension) a name.’ The femininity of klesis is an establishment of the fact that the recipient – the Bride – of Providential ‘calling’, will be added to God. The dual ‘without repentance’ are a single Greek word ametameletos (am-et-am-el’-ay-tos): ‘irrevocable.’ It comes from two Greek words: a and metamellomai (met-am-el’-lom-ai).’ While a (al’-fah) means: ‘1. the first letter of the alphabet 2. (figuratively) only 3. (numerically) the first 4. (prefix, commonly) not, without (a-, an-, i.e. amoral, anarchy) 5. (prefix, occasionally) in the sense of a union (i.e. akin, adelphos “brother”), in this context it is based on the fourth definition. Metamellomai is: ‘to care afterwards, i.e. regret.’ Ametameletos, therefore, means ‘incapable of being retracted or revoked’.

“…to dress it and to keep it.”
The goodness of the LORD God is, in this verse, brought forth. His beneficence must eternalize the free gift: for His uttered words are of eternal consequence. The reason for this is that the LORD God, the Author of the gift, is eternal.
Does God give gifts or make calling just for the fun of it? When He endows gifts, it is always in furtherance of His vineyard work. Intelligent beings of the creationism are worshippers and workers in the Kingdom of Jehovah. The first place of Adamic activity was in the Eden Garden, a vineyard: God’s home. And He told Adam, “Dress it and keep it.” The first act, ‘dress’, ‛âbad (aw-bad’) means: ‘to work, serve, till.’ The next activity, ‘keep’, is shâmar (shaw-mar’): ‘to hedge about (as with thorns), that is, guard; generally to protect, attend to.’ The Eden Garden, God’s residence, was the first Church, with Adam as the pastor, priest and the prophet, where his wife, Adam the female, was expected to utter the participatory, “Amen,” to every leadership role of her husband. In the moulding of our pristine parents, the Creator fashioned the enabling gifts into their ontological quiddity. To Cain, God came with an olive branch, offering the gift of rapport, with an intention to open the door of reconciliatory calling. Cain rejected, like Lucifer, his spiritual progenitor, the Providential gift and call Cain metamorphosed into the head and father of the antediluvian miscreants. And Cain was lost forever.

Noah did not stop being the head of humanity, prophetically and otherwise.
The prophetic gift given to antediluvian saints through Enoch and Noah was trampled under the degenerate feet of of Adamic aberrancy. Perchance, God, thinking like man, to save him, He gave gift of prophetic office to the antediluvian age. An enviable gift of friendship was the Providential bestowal on the phenomenal man of faith, Abraham, Jehovah’s prophet. To Joseph God granted the gift of dreams interpretation. His father, Jacob, and his grandfather, Isaac, were given the gift of nurturing the people of God, Israel, from whom is the inexorable emanation of the Incarnation of the holy One of Israel, Jesus Christ.
To Moses were the quadruple official roles of the prophet, priest, judge and the prince of Israel, who led Israel out of Egyptian bondage, on her way to the Promised Land. The last Judge of Israel, Samuel, also got endowed with the four Mosaic roles as well, who anointed the first and the second kings of Israel, Saul and David. The LORD God who had everything planned before its eventual emergence said to him, 5) “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 6) Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. 7) But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. 8) Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD” (Jeremiah 1:5-8). John 6:70 “Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?” Jesus chose His followers with the gift of apostleship. One of them, like Cain, received not the Divine gift with all his heart; like Cain and the Antichrist, Judas ran himself into anathematic perdition.

JESUS is our Porter: The Giver of life
Jesus will give you rest only if you will receive His life. Get born again. Say this simple prayer:
“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You no w in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
