New Age Spirituality

Vain deceitfulness of The New Age Spirituality

(XVI)

(…continues from part 15…)

We are still on New Age Spirituality, using a cull from Wikipedia.

As part of its eclecticism, the New Age draws ideas from many different cultural and spiritual traditions from across the world, often legitimising this approach by reference to “a very vague claim” about underlying global unity.[136] Certain societies are more usually chosen over others;[137] examples include the ancient Celts, ancient Egyptians, the Essenes, Atlanteans, and ancient extra-terrestrials. (Wikipedia).

Lucifer – the god of this world

The god of this world –Lucifer

This is exactly what Lucifer had desiderated, all these eons. He had his mind absolutely beclouded with a psychopathological crave for deification. He must bring intelligent beings together in the worship of Lucifer. He tried it when the whole world came under the first king of the earth, Nimrod, the Baal, the sun god. All that the Devil had to do is feed this religious coadunation of his satanic crave into the warped minds of these New Agers. They love it, having been lost spiritually. In the final analysis, the Antichrist will succeed in the grand unification of all religions. But, as the good Lord will have it, all born again Christians would have gone with the promised rapture to eternal bliss of heaven.

Suffer little children, and forbid them not [Matthew 19:14]

Ethics and afterlife

There is no ethical cohesion within the New Age phenomenon, [228] although Hanegraaff argued that the central ethical tenet of the New Age is to cultivate one’s own divine potential.

[229] Given that the movement’s holistic interpretation of the universe prohibits a belief in a dualistic good and evil,[230] negative events that happen are interpreted not as the result of evil but as lessons designed to teach an individual and enable them to advance spiritually. (Wikipedia)

I was shapen in iniquity [Psalm 51:5]

Jesus came to address the sin question

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me (Psalm 51:5). We did not become sinners because we do evil. We are sinners because it is our nature. Every Adamic progeny is a sinner, right from the womb. It is a spiritual matter. Only spiritual solution, divinely proffered, can adjudicate the sinful soul of an individual. This is an excerpt from the true story Jesus told: Luke 16:23-25 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24) And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25) But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

New Age and their belief

According to Hanegraaff, the question of death and afterlife is not a “pressing problem requiring an answer” in the New Age. [237] A belief in reincarnation is very common, where it often viewed as being part of an individual’s progressive spiritual evolution toward realisation of their own divinity.(Culled from Wikipedia).

Reincarnation? The word of God says: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28) So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation” (Hebrews 9:27-28). The word ‘appointed’ is the Greek apokeimai (a-po’-kei-mai), meaning: ‘1. to be reserved. 2. (figuratively) to await.’ The adverb ‘once’ is hapax (ha’-pax), meaning: ‘one time (numerically or conclusively).’ The active ‘offered’ is prosphero (pros-fe’-rō) 1. to bear towards, i.e. to lead to, to tender. 2. (especially to God) to entreat.’ The ‘bear’ of the 27th verse anaphero (a-na-fe’-rō) is: ‘to bear up, carry up.’ This is the substitutionary death Jesus went through for all who come into our world through the Adamic parturition. Reincarnation is an absolutely wrong teaching.

Only Jesus can save

Getting born again is strictly a conscious effort on the part of an individual. It is of a personal conviction that, as the word of God says, Jesus is truly the only Saviour of the world. A soteriological dependence on the finished work of Jesus is the sole belief requirement of Scripture. Get born again by saying this simple prayer.

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
