Jesus is the wisdom of the Eternal God

(…continues from part 1…)

2)            When Jesus told His hearers, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me“ [John 5:39]; Prophet Micah and his vaticination happened to be one of those who, through the Holy Spirit’s inspiration, got mankind ready for the Incarnation of the Divinity. Is Jesus Christ truly eternal? He made an asseveration to the fact in John 8:58, “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”

Colossians 1:17-18

Now let us understand the difference between the “was” and the “am” of this verse. Grammatical facticity makes ‘was’ and ‘am’ inflections of ‘be’. The verbal ‘was’ is ginomai (ghin’-om-ahee): ‘to become, i.e. to come into existence, begin to be, receive being.’ The ‘am’ is eimi (i-mee’): ‘to be, to exist.’ When you bring the personal pronoun ‘I’ into the picture, what is revealed is the Personage of Exodus chapter 3 verse 14. ‘I AM’ is the Hebraic hâyâh (haw-yaw): ‘exist’. This ‘I AM’ is Jehovah. Jesus Christ is as eternal as God the Father, ergo, He did not come into being, i.e. created –He has an eternal existence before Abraham was brought into existence. The ‘was’ and the ‘am’ are, therefore, not the same as erroneously believed by Arians. The Jews who received this address understood Jesus perfectly and for this reason, they decided to stone Him to death in verse 59, for the very reason they sought to do the same in John 5:18, saying that by the asseveration of Jesus, “He makes Himself equal with God.”

Revelation 13:8

The Lamb of God –slain from the foundation of the world [Rev. 13:8].

Proverbs 8:24-29 24 “When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth: 26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world. 27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth: 28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep: 29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:”

Wisdom, personifying the Christ, was there beside God in the unity of the Godhead when absolutely nothing was in existence save the Trinity. The first verse of Mosaic script of the Book of Genesis has, “In the beginning God created…” where ‘God’ in Hebrew is: ‘ĕlôhı̂ym (el-o-heem’). A plural noun, meaning: ‘rulers, judges; divine ones; angels; gods.’ Generating power for creationism was the Holy Spirit in the 2nd verse; and Christ, the Light, in the 3rd verse, stepped in physically to concretise creationism; and the name, LORD God, was first ascribed to Him as the Creator in Genesis 2:4.

The ETERNAL FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT: The TRINITY

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit

Verse 30 of Proverbs chapter 8 paints the perfection of Jesus’ coetaneity with the Father. 30 “Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him.” ‘One brought up’ is ‘âmôn (aw-mone’): ‘artificer, architect, master workman, skilled workman (in the sense of training).’ Now ‘âmôn has its origin in ‘âman (aw-man’): ‘to support, confirm, be faithful; uphold, nourish; foster-father,’ and when one puts all of these definitions together what do we have? If ‘Wisdom,’ that is the Christ, is seen as an Architect who trained Him? Being the wisdom of God, none should train Him. There is no supportive Scripture to the effect of the First Member of the Godhead playing the divine role of Christ’s or the Holy Spirit’s foster-father. Could the Father have gone through being a foster-child as well? I do see the allegory of the First and the Second Members growing up to adulthood. Co-equality, definitely, is here revealed.

Jesus died for you to be saved. Get born again.

Get born again. Say this simple prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say:

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
