Lucifer’s Smoothness of Shenanigan (2)
“The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat” [Genesis 3:13].
(…continues from part one…)
2) Now, listen to the woman’s response to the make-believe satanic inquisitive trap. “And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die” [Genesis 3:2-3]. Sounds so much like puerility. She was made to think that she was addressing a minor – her child. Have you ever noticed that when it was the turn of the old Dragon to open his vocal cord, it was not that of juvenility? The words were that of mesmerising authority uttered from superiority.
Genesis 3:4-5 “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: 5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” She did not know that she was dealing with a being, billions of years older! Lucifer, smiling, plotted to play words with the youngest of intelligent created minds.
“Neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die” [Genesis 3:3]
When the woman, in total disregard to her husband, the head of humanity, decided on her own to stain God’s protocol with “neither shall ye touch it” of verse three, contrary to Genesis 2:17, she actually uttered the first superstitious innuendo. The masquerading serpentine evil knew that his trap had given him a trophy. The woman of Eden misrepresented both her husband and the LORD God. She did not give God the most proper title of “LORD God”; and that way the spirit behind the serpent had his opportunity to present himself as god – for anything can be god – albeit his intention was an apotheotic design to bend the religious knees of the world before Satanism.
Her untrue statement against the word of God played her into the waiting, malicious hands of the Devil. Lucifer needed to have the Woman – the symbolism of the Church – to utter words of Scriptural aberrancy. That way he will devilishly have the Church of God in his pocket to perfect the priestcraft of his intention. Today, though, so many pastors may be sincere, as Reverend Chris Okotie always makes it clear, they are sincerely wrong, even as the Reverend concludes. The Church of God constantly adds to the Word of God. Sad. The guiltiest of all being the Romish Church of Catholicism. Imagine the Pope pontificating that God told him to edit the Ten Commandments!
woman saw tree …good for food, …pleasant to the eyes, and …make one wise
She should have queried Lucifer’s question with, “What do you want to know?” That way, she would have stood firmly, as a one who had authority over her head. Lucifer would have got himself in a dangerous cul-de-sac. That, probably, would have been the end of his escapades on terra firma. The enemy, as diabolically expected, did something to allow the victim to tighten the noose around her own neck. He played along with the unsuspecting wife of Adam. He added ‘not’ a negation, to make of none effect, God’s original, “…thou shalt surely die;” making God, in the heart of Adam’s wife, a liar.
Having successfully portrayed the Creator as self-conceited, self-loving and someone in absolute disregard for man’s evolution to deified status, the Devil painted himself as the liberating illuminator, who is ready to take mankind to the next level of apotheotic pride. The bait had been taken. The hook had sunk, irreversibly deep, as far as the victim was concerned. Satanism got unfortunately established.
And the resultant effects were, “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7) And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons” (Genesis 3:6-7). Adamic spirituality had fallen! This is the saddest part of human history.
Who told thee that thou wast naked? [Genesis 3:11]
Was the LORD God late in making His entrance only after the evil deed of eternal consequence had been perpetrated? Why did He not, like in the Hollywood movies, just show up to act the heroic, Saviour role? Genesis 3:8-11 “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. 9) And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10) And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 11) And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?”
Free Moral, Sinless, Adamic Agents
Adam and his wife were on probationary life. They were made free moral agents. On the sixth day of re-creationism of their entrance into life, they were already adults. They had been initiated into the knowledge of good and evil. God did not create soulless robots of mechanical operations devoid of spirituality. Adam was made to make intellectual decisions. He had the image of God, making him God’s most favourite being. Adam could not have asked for more!
Get born again. Say this simple prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say:
“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
