29 YEARS A HOUSEHOLDER

Today the 11th of September, 2023, I have, by the special grace of God been a true member of THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD CHURCH, ebulliently shepherded by the Pauline highbrowed Reverend Chris Okotie.
It was in 1994, the eleventh of September, a Sunday, when I first attended the service in this church. One sermon, titled “Christian Cult” and I knew, most definitely, “This is my Church.” I cannot forget this day, the day I refer to as my own 9/11 albeit, mine is not a disastrous one.
To the LORD God I give my gratitude for directing me to this Oregun, Ikeja located church of the LORD Jesus.

Thank you my Prince, Reverend Chris Okotie. Your erudition, my Pastor, indeed, your pedagogical perspicacity, my Prince, is very difficult to match. Thank you for taking me through Scriptural contextualization. Not long after I became a Householder, I just could not help shopping for very good Bible books.
Today, twenty-nine years of being a Householder, I proudly beat my chest, asseverating, “I know the Bible!” I have learnt under the very best of Bible pedagogue – Reverend Chris Okotie.
Come to Jesus, the Saviour of the world.
Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. You were born in sin. Say this sinner’s prayer.
“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
