Can Jesus be the Alpha and Omega and not be of Divinity?

6)            At-Taubah 9:31 They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.

                Part of the commentary runs thus: “They took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah. Adi commented, “I said, `They did not worship them.”’ The Prophet said,

“Yes they did. They (rabbis and monks) prohibited the allowed for them (Christians and Jews) and allowed the prohibited, and they obeyed them. This is how they worshipped them.” The Messenger of Allah said to Adi, “O Adi what do you say? Did you run away (to Ash-Sham) so that ‘Allahu Akbar’ (Allah is the Great) is not pronounced? Do you know of anything greater than Allah? What made you run away? Did you run away so that `La ilaha illallah’ is not pronounced?

Do you know of any deity worthy of worship except Allah?” The Messenger invited Adi to embrace Islam, and he embraced Islam and pronounced the Testimony of Truth. The face of the Messenger of Allah beamed with pleasure and he said to Adi, “Verily, the Jews have earned the anger (of Allah) and the Christians are misguided.”

Monasteries are homes of monks and nuns run by Catholicism not of the Apostolic Fathers.

                Did the Apostolic Fathers i.e. Paul, Peter, John and the others create any monastery? Muhammad was simply typecasting all church goers as Christians. In his days, Catholicism enjoyed a global prominence because of the Roman Empire’s connection; Muhammad, no doubt, heard and saw Christianity through the doctrinal lens of the Romish Church. The Popery of Catholicism never discouraged the establishments of monks’ and nuns’ occupation of monasteries. Most of the teachings of Catholicism are at variance with the teachings of the Apostolic Fathers – Mariology, baby baptism, purgatory, indulgencies, and infallibility of the Roman Catholic Church, celibacy etc. –; Muhammad believed, erroneously, that the Pope is the representative of Christianity – Body of Christ.        

                How can the recitation of “Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illallah” save the soul of the sinfulness of Adamic nature? Is the Islamic chant a theological substitute or better than receiving Jesus as one’s Lord and Saviour? Without being born again, one cannot access “the presence of the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

Muhammad of Allah rejects the Deity of Jesus Christ.

                Al-Ma’idah 5:17 They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, “Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?” And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.

Tafsir The Polytheism and Disbelief of the Christians Allah states that the Christians are disbelievers because of their claim that `Isa, son of Maryam, one of Allah’s servants and creatures, is Allah. Allah is holier than what they attribute to Him. Say: “Who then has the least power against Allah, if He were to destroy the Messiah, son of Maryam, his mother, and all those who are on the earth together?”…so this refutes the Christian creed, may Allah’s continued curses be upon them until the Day of Resurrection. And Allah is able to do all things. Refuting the People of the Book’s Claim that they are Allah’s Children.

“…my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Mark 1:11)

                Prophet Muhammad must sift and try to edit the Bible to effect the acceptance of Allah’s Islam. Allah has no son; fine. Jehovah of the Christian Bible has an Only Begotten Son, and Islam cannot make that a heresy; the Bible that has been in existence for over two thousand years before Muhammad’s birth is superior to whatever Islam dreams of. The word of the Bible has the immutability of the Divinity. King Nebuchadnezzar threw three Hebrew boys into the furnace for refusing to worship his idol. A miracle took place. Daniel 3:25 “He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”  The fourth One was actually the pre-incarnation manifestation of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. The angels of heaven, created beings, are called sons of God; how cannot it be possible for regenerated souls to be called sons of God as well?

“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings…” (Psalm 8:2)

                Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. You were born in sin. Say this sinner’s prayer.

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
