WHO IS GREATEST AMONG THE PERSONS OF THE TRINITY? (Seven)

“…even the Son of man which is in heaven.” (John 3:13)

(…continues from part five…)

7)            Jesus’ omnipresence has its revealed manifestation in Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Physically present everywhere and anywhere of prayers and deliberations in the name of Jesus, the Second Member of the Godhead, is standing or seated among the people of the Lord from heaven. The same phenomenality of observation takes place in Matthew 28:19-20 “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

John 3:13 “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” Quite paradoxical is this verse. This verse does not support old Socinian’s subversion of Christology, teaching that Jesus got caught up to heaven to receive certain instructions then journeyed back to the earth to deliver them. Jesus chose this verse in His discussions with Nicodemus to make this disclosure of His Divine ubiquity. Ephesians 1:23 “Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.” Jesus Christ as the Creator, Governor and the Preserver of the redeemed, fills perfectly and completely the entire universe even to overflowing. This fact has the corroboration of Colossians 3:11 “Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.” Jesus is the celestial Lord of all races, creeds and earthly governance.

Solomon in 1Kings 8:27

Father’s omnipresence: 1Kings 8:27 “But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?” The wisest man and the King of Israel, Solomon, poured forth in wisdom, truth concerning the ubiquitous essence of God. God is truly everywhere. Psalm 139:7-8 “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8) If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.” Both the First and the Third Members of the Godhead have Scriptural veridicality of the Omnipresence. There is absolutely nowhere to hide from the Divinity. This is the reason why one should keep away from all sinfulness. God sees all, wherever and whenever, and all at the same time; judging every act of all the billions of intelligent beings separately all at the same time! Incredible, but certainly is so!

Isaiah 40:13-14 “Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him? 14) With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?” Is this not another indubitable facticity of the Holy Spirit’s and God the Father’s Omniscience? Can one sit science down to give science lectures on scientific truths? Is it not from facts of science one teaches science? God is all-knowing; who is able to teach Him what He knows not? 1John 1:5 “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.” Light is illumination; the strength of its penetrating force piercing through every intent and existence, and leaving nothing unknown. In God is no darkness at all: a prognostication of absolute privation of any smidgeon of ignorance. This is what makes Jehovah what He is – God!

A sacrificial altar

Exodus 20:24 “An altar of earth thou shalt make unto me, and shalt sacrifice thereon thy burnt offerings, and thy peace offerings, thy sheep, and thine oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto thee, and I will bless thee.” Most definitely the LORD God is present everywhere and that at all times. John 4:23 “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” The worship of a deity is expected to involve the deity’s physical presence. It is a known fact that Satan has the desideration of being worshipped.

The problem with Lucifer is that he cannot, like all intelligent beings of the creationism, produce a physical manifestation of himself in more than one place. How does the sworn enemy of Jehovah make dubious multiple manifestation of himself? Demons – there are billions of them – show up in different places of Satanism and even communicate with the worshippers of idolatry, who believe the true God of heaven has spoken, not knowing that shenanigan of Satanism is at work.

The LORD God of the Bible is quite different. The Father sitting in the heavenly assizes sees all, knows all and does all. His physical manifestation to His creation is the Truth, in the Person of Christ, the eternal Word. Jesus, the True Light, knows all and just like the Father, sees and does all. The energizing Person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit of both the Father and the Son, takes a dwelling in man. In the Old Testamentary order He sits on the head of individuals to direct their divine missions.

But from the day of the Pentecostal phenomenal commencement of the Church, the Holy Spirit entered the regenerated spirit of the Christian and abiding in the spirit realms of as many people of the earth will decide to get born again. True worship that takes one to heavenly blissfulness must be a containerization of the Holy Spirit, in the knowledge of the finished work of salvation by Christ Jesus according to the eternality of the will of God the Father. You cannot tell me you worship the God of the Bible if you are not born again. Selah!

Getting born again is strictly a conscious effort on the part of an individual. It is of a personal conviction that, as the word of God says, Jesus is truly the only Saviour of the world. A soteriological dependence on the finished work of Jesus is the sole belief requirement of Scripture. Get born again by saying this simple prayer.

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
