King Nebuchadnezzar

3)            Is it not interesting that when it comes to an unholy religion unnecessary coercion is the order of manipulation? Drunken with power, King Nebuchadnezzar ordered: “And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace” (Daniel 3:6). God advised an apostate Cain: 6) “And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? 7) If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him” (Genesis 4:6-7). Having given man the right to free moral agency, the LORD God came to a disturbed Cain, as a good Father that He is, to show Cain the right way to solve his aggravated heart, “If thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door.” The Hebrew word for ‘sin,’ chaṭṭâ’âh (khat-taw-aw’), in this context means: ‘sacrificial offering or expiation.’ The word ‘lieth’ is râbats (raw-bats’): ‘to crouch (on all four legs folded, like a recumbent animal).’ Râbats here points out to an animal that could easily be given as a sacrifice for atonement. Râbats underscores Genesis 3:15 known as the Protoevangelium, the “first gospel.”

Immediately after the fall, God speaks directly to Satan (the serpent) and announces Satan’s punishment and defeat through “the seed” of a woman who will crush his head; and pointing to the future manifestation of Immanuel, Who will undergo the sanguinary substitutionary death for this sinning world, that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life. On account of suasive approach, Cain was not compelled to follow the Christ. Matthew 11:28 begins with an imperative deute (dyoo’-the) “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

God did not force Adam and Eve to remain in faith

Notwithstanding, for deciding on this lethiferous route while here on earth, no deployment of angelic hosts compels anyone to remain in the faith. Neither does any Scripture give any believer the religious right to threaten those who decide to quit Christianity. Do the occult membership of Illuminati, Freemasonry or other cults allow apostates to go free, especially when the person of apostasy decides to publish the reasons why those religions are not of Jesus (e.g. John Todd)?

Let us look at some Muhammadan Qur’an and the Hadith. Sahih al-Bukhari, Blood Money (Ad-Diyat) Book 87, Hadith 17. “Narrated ‘`Abdullah: Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) said, “The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims.” An-Nisa’ 4:89 “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate for the cause of Allah. But if they turn away [i.e., refuse], then seize them and kill them [for their betrayal] wherever you find them and take not from among them any ally or helper,” and At-Taubah 9:66 “Make no excuse; you have disbelieved [i.e., rejected faith] after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you – We will punish another faction because they were criminals.”

Islam apostasy is a dangerous act

Sahih al-Bukhari, Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad) Book 56, Hadith 226 “Narrated ‘`Ikrima:

`Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn `Abbas, who said, “Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them, as the Prophet (pbuh) said, ‘Don’t punish (anybody) with Allah’s Punishment.’ No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet (pbuh) said, ‘If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.’” Regardless of any Qur’anic verse any Muslim likes to recite to denounce killing apostates of Islam, the above Muhammadan passages are more than enough to prove that Islam, like any other religions of the world, destructively frowns on apostasy.

I heard one Yoruba elderly Muslim in the seventies, “Bí omo mi kan bá ní òun yíó di Christian, n pa á dánù ni, Olóun ò sì níí bínú sí i.” Translation: “If any of my child says he will become a Christian, I will kill him off, and God will not be angry with it.” This is what true Muslims, who would follow the words of Muhammad to the letter, believe. The Christian soteriological establishment is devoid of coercion as the microcosm of the entire Bible reads in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” It is “whosoever decides to believe” not in arm twisting fashion of Nebuchadnezzar and Muhammad.

Get Jesus initiated by getting born again: pray this prayer, believing it with all your heart. Say,

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
