The Trinitarian concept

5)            It is in light of this scriptural fact – only by grace – that He said, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). The Lord’s decision to choose Lazarus as His friend was not a mere coincidence. It was a deliberate act of Divinity to use a man as a universal contact. John, His Apostle, comes from the Hebrew Yôchânân (yo-khaw-nawn’) meaning: ‘Jehovah has graced; Jehovah is a gracious giver; whom Jehovah bestowed.’ This is the definition of Lazarus (lad’-zar-os): ‘(a form of the Hebrew name Eleazar or ‘el‛âzâr (el-aw-zawr’): ‘whom God helps; God has helped; whom God aids.’ These two friends of the Lord’s adoption constitute the universal publication that it is by His grace that He comes to our aid. Grace is an acronym for God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense or God’s Ready Assistance Concerning Everything. When you are in possession of too much of too muchness to give out, you do it in style.

Jesus raised Lazarus, His friend, from death.

                Knowing that there is no way that I could do it by myself, He had to get physically involved by the eradication of transiency of quadrupedal ritualism. God must prove the veracity of His essence, ergo, Jesus said, “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Did He not know that His friend, Lazarus, was dying? Why would He wait for four whole days after the death of His friend before showing up? He wanted to prove His Omnipotence and His Omnipresence essence. His Omnipotence raised the dead Lazarus; and His Omnipresence went down to the land of the dead, even Abraham’s bosom, to bring the dead Lazarus back to life on terra firma once again.

                For two reasons God adopted the tripartite manifestation of the Godhead. The Trinity was not just for the fun of it: it was first for Himself, then for the salvation of man. Relationship does attract the concept of I-It, I-Thou and the plurality of We-You.

The relationship concept of I-It, I-Thou and the plurality of We-You

                The relationship between an intelligent being and his pet or inanimate objects add an I-It. Between intelligent beings is the attraction of I-Thou and the plurality of We-You. The LORD God, expecting statistical abundance in objects of creationism, and not wanting to experience plurality from the objects of His creation, and for the Colossians 1:18 Scriptural fact of “that in all things he might have the preeminence” where ‘preeminence,’ prōteuō (prote-yoo’-o) in Greek has the definition: ‘to be first (in rank or influence); hold the first place;’ the Godhead must experience I-Thou between Father and Son, Holy Spirit and either of the Father or the Son. For the spiritual optics the We-You concept of relationship is a Scriptural observation in Genesis 1:26 “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness;” Genesis 3:22 “And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil;” and Psalm 110:1 “The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” Before creation of anything the Father addressed the Son and the Holy Spirit with the personal pronoun of “You”; “We” for Himself and the Holy Spirit; and for Himself, “I”. Who among the Members of the Godhead is the oldest, most powerful, wisest, or most important? “None,” is the answer.

                The second reason for the Trinitarian quiddity is strictly for the actuation of the soteriology. God knew man will suffer his free moral agency to be infected by Satanism. The Creator had foreknown the remnants who would receive Jehovah Jesus as Lord and Saviour. It has been decided among the Members of the Godhead that the Father must be seated eternally on the celestial throne. God the Son, the direct Creator, took it upon Himself to perform the sanguineous substitutionary Golgotha sacrifice, while the Holy Spirit would be seated in the holy of holies in the Jerusalem Temple, receiving the latria due to the God of Israel. For my salvation Jehovah decided to be Three of Persons. The Trinity is One worshipped God. God became a man to root out and cleanse the Adamic race of the annihilative excrescence of sin. “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!” And to that I shout, “Hallelujah!”

                Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. Say this sinner’s prayer.

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
