Is Christmas Of Idolatry? (1)

Sundry tales wound reportedly around this 25th of December. One of them being that Semiramis, the mother and wife of Nimrod, instituted this 25th to monunentalise her king, husband and lord, as the sun god. They (or probably she) had a son, Tammuz, with whom the idolatrous trinity of the Babylonian religion became a consummation. Babel, the epicentre of sun worship is, from the Hebrew Bābhél, which from Akkadian, is Bab-lu, literally: ‘gate of God’. Which god: for it certainly is not of Jehovah? It is incontrovertibly of Baal, the Nimrodic sun deity of Satanism. Baal worship was engendered by a self-deification pampered by an inebriation of humanism.

It is from the above historical reality of the Nimro-Semiramis paganism that the heads of churches like W.F. Kumuyi, General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church; D.K. Olukoya, the General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries; the leadership of Religious Society of Friends, also known as Quakers; St. Gideon Meriodere Urhobo of God’s Kingdom Society; headship of the Jehovah’s Witnesses; leadership of Seventh Day Adventist Church and Pastor Oludare, the General Overseer of Christ’s Trumpeter’s Church preach against the celebration of Christmas. Pastor Kumuyi’s Deeper Life Bible Church does not even sing the carols! Christ’s Trumpeter’s Church sees it as sheer waste of latria time. Some of the churches think that if it is necessary, the Bible would have institutionalise this celebration.

The December 25th is also a huge contention. It could not have been snowing, based on the December to February meteorological phenomenon of Israel, for the shepherds to remain outside the pen of the fold in such a very cold weather. Many, believing October to be the likely month of the Messianic incarnation, frown at this 25th December celebration of Christmas. This celebration is coined from ‘Christ Mass’, proving its Catholicism origin.

Undoubtedly is the syncretic sooth that birthed the first ever Christmas of the fourth century. Roman Catholic Church, under the ecumenic leadership of Pope Julius 1, whose papacy ran from 6th of February 337 to 12th April 352, joined forces, quite alien to the Holy Spirit, with a 313 A.D. Roman emperor Constantine Caesar, a staunch believer in the Sol Invictus (Unconquered Sun) otherwise known as the sun god of Nimrodic Baal. By 350 A.D. Christ Mass celebration had received global institutionalisation. The initial paganism slant of Christmas, ergo, is a facticity.

It is a scriptural truism that an echt worshipper of Jehovah will come to his Creator with the sincerity of the heart. Those who approach the Lord on a Christmas day in truth and in Spirit will definitely be received of the Lord. I do understand that that particular day of sol invictus is the spiritual disgust many churches shrink from. The question now is does the sun god own any day of the week, month or year? Was it not the proclivity of religiosity that goaded humans to give up that 25th for the worship of the sun god?

Jehovah God made man a free moral agent. Man’s fall opened him to more mistakes. Rather than go back to our first love, we suffered ourselves to be swallowed up by the deceitful gloss of Satanism, which has continued to lure mankind into this religious submission. Should we observe Christmas owing to its paganic foundation and especially in the light of the Lord’s warning of Deuteronomy 16:21 “Thou shalt not plant thee a grove of any trees near unto the altar of the LORD thy God, which thou shalt make thee”?

The fall of the Adamic Race

Creationism ran through the six-sevenths days of the week. In the seventh God rested and blessed that day. The eighth day is not, as far as creationism is concerned, an extension of the week. The eighth day is always the beginning of another week. What happened in day one of creation? Genesis 1:3-5 “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5) And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” This Light happens to be a Personage: the Divine One of John 1:1-9. Verses 3 and 4 read “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” His divinity is made manifest in: “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world” [John 1:9].
