MUHAMMAD DENIES THE DIVINITY OF JESUS (10)
JESUS CHRIST: LORD OF SABBATH; THE ALMIGHTY OF REVELATION 1:8.
(…continues from part nine…)
10) In the Book of 2Corinthians 13:14, Paul, under the Holy Spirit’s inspiration, wrote in conclusion of the chapter, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.” The doxological appraisal attests to the Divinity of Jesus in 2Thessalonians 2:13-14 “But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14) Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.” The soteriological reality has a due divine involvement of Jesus when you read 1Peter 1:2 “Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.” Due Scriptural process of Jude 1:1 “Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:” tells us in categorical terms that Jesus is our Divine Protector leading to an eventual salvation. The word ‘preserved’ is tēreō (tay-reh’-o): ‘to attend to carefully, take care of; Metaphorically to keep one in the state in which he is; to observe; to guard (from loss or injury, properly by keeping the eye upon.’ How can Jesus be the Saviour, Protector and eternal Maintainer of salvation and not be the very God of very Jehovah? Selah!
In the Book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible, a grand introduction of Jesus is a Self- declaration, the same way God does, in chapter 1 verse 8, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
The Qur’an
It is not difficult not to see the credibility gap found in the Qur’an. Az-Zukhruf (43) verse 31 “And they said, “Why was this Quran not sent down upon a great man from [one of] the two cities?””
This is what the commentary says, “And they say, Means, objecting to that which Allah has revealed to him, Why is not this Qur’an sent down to some great man of the two towns? Meaning, why was this Qur’an not revealed to some man who was great and prominent in their eyes, from the two towns, i.e., Makkah and At-Ta’if. This was the view of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, Ikrimah, Muhammad bin Ka`b Al-Qurazi, Qatadah, As-Suddi and Ibn Zayd.
Several scholars of Tafsir stated that by this, the Quraysh meant Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah and Urwah bin Mas`ud Ath-Thaqafi. The apparent meaning is that what they meant was a great man from either of the two towns.”
It stinks of solecism, this Quoranic verse, when you put extant historical and archeological documentations together. The two cities are, historically, places in present day Saudi Arabia or Mecca. Is Muhammad not spoken of as the most honourable Arabian prophet? If this ayat wondered why Allah refused to place the responsibility of Islam’s prophetic office on an honourable man of Mecca and At-Ta’if, does that not mean that Muhammad was neither a man of honour nor whose origin is in Mecca? Does it also not prove that Muhammad was not an honourable man by Arabian standard? He is believed, according to an Arabic blogger, ChristianPrince, to have got the father of Khadija drunk, and in the wake of the morning, when the man enquired what he was doing with his daughter, Muhammad said to him, “You consented to our marriage and blessed it.” The man, furiously, “I did not!” was his denial. “Yes, you did,” countered Muhammad, and they were married, Khadija and Muhammad. Talk about honour: if this is true!
This is the original Kaaba, built in Petra, for idols.
Muhammad, as Qur’an consistently make us believe, was not from Mecca. Mecca, according to historical findings came into geographical knowledge only about 720 A.D., close to a century after his death. What does it say in the Muhammadan (Al-An’am) 6:92 “And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed and confirming what was before it, that you may warn the Mother of Cities [i.e., Makkah] and those around it. Those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, and they are maintaining their prayers.” Petra, up North of Mecca, is the city called “Mother of Cities” probably because of the civilization it gained for being an important territory of international trade. It has lots of water and reputably very agrarian. Mecca, on the other hand, was an aridity of desert crudity. Note the idolatrous totemism around the original Kaaba in the picture above. Muhammadan criticism of the Bible and Jesus Christ cannot be anything less than specious. Selah!
The difference between Jehovah and Allah, judging by what the Qur’an uncovers of the Islamic God, and what the Bible teaches of the Divine Entity, is in the inherent definition of each. Allah: ‘the God’, comes from the Old German ‘got’ etymologically, a neuter gender, is the generic English ‘god’ which, points to anything that takes libationary pour in attraction of idolatrous belief: this is Allah. Jehovah: ‘I AM THAT I AM’, points to the covenantal sobriquet of soteriological quiddity. Where, ergo, is the true Adamic salvation from, Allah or Jehovah? Selah!
Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. You were born in sin. Say this sinner’s prayer.
“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
