WHO IS GREATEST AMONG THE PERSONS OF THE TRINITY? (Five)
(…continues from part three…)
5) Some may want to ask, “Why did Jesus say that the day of the end-time is unknown to all save the Father?” They believing that even Jesus, by His pronouncement, agrees that He does not know the day of tribulation. What many Bible readers do not understand is that there is a difference between the humanity of Him as Jesus, and His Divinity as the Christ, Who is the Word of God. Uncreated: for He exists before the creation of time. If through Him all things visible and invisible came into being, then He is truly God’s Fellow of Whom the Scripture says, “Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him” (Proverbs 8:30): where ‘one brought up’ is the Hebrew ‘amown (aw-mone’): ‘skilled, i.e. an architect [probably in the sense of training].’
Can the historical documentation of universal occurrences ever stumble on a particular time when the Father and the Son walked side by side, growing up as brothers or as in architectural training? The Members of the Trinity, absolutely complete, do not grow in wisdom, stature or age. The Christ is as eternal as the Father, so is the Holy Spirit. Christ, ergo, knows everything including “the end of the world” of Matthew 24:3-36; it is just that this information was not passed on to the knowledge of Jesus, who happens to be His humanity and the covering of His Divinity. Selah!
The WORD of GOD
Does the Bible consent to the Omniscience of the Son? Revelation 2:23 “And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.” This verse is a direct speech from the lips of Jesus as the Visitant to the Island of Patmos. When one considers the word ‘reins’ which is nephros (nef-ros’): ‘a kidney, loins; used of the inmost thoughts, feelings, purposes, of the soul,’ one sees this revelatory verse as dealing with His Omniscience; but view it from the perspective of all hearts of mankind and immediately one fails not to recognize universal ubiquity of the Son. 1Corinthians 1:22-24 “For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: 23) But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; 24) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” Christ being the power and the wisdom of God makes Him both the Omnipotence and the Omniscience.
“These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire” (Revelation 2:18)
Revelation 2:18 “And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;” Phlox (flox), the Greek for ‘flame’, having its origin from phlego (to “flash”), gives the picture of His ability to pierce through all minds, in fact, at the same time. This is where the Illuminati got the “all seeing eye” title for its Baphometic god of Satanism. Luke 10:22 “All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.” The active ‘knoweth’ is ginōskō (ghin-oce’-ko) which speaks of: ‘knowing absolutely.’ Absolute discernment of God the Father is definitely the possession of eternality of knowledge, such that what is not known of that mind surely has no existence.
Colossians 1:19 “For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;” for in Christ is the consummate culmination of the Omnipotence, and Omnipresence and, certainly, Omniscience. Did He not asseverate the words of John 10:30, “I and my Father are one”? And what is the meaning of the last word of the verse, ‘one’? It is heis (hice): ‘essence.’ Heis says, “Whatever thing is found in the Father is absolutely present in the Son. Of the same Son it is written, “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). That which the Christ does not know does not exist. And it is from this Scripture one easily adduces the claim that if Jesus did not know the exact day of end of time, Christ, most definitely, knew.
Getting born again is strictly a conscious effort on the part of an individual. It is of a personal conviction that, as the word of God says, Jesus is truly the only Saviour of the world. A soteriological dependence on the finished work of Jesus is the sole belief requirement of Scripture. Get born again by saying this simple prayer.
“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
