Jesus Christ

THE END-TIME MARK OF THE ANTICHRIST (IX)

The Lord Jesus will show up twice in the seventh week. Not touching the earth, His first appearance takes place in the middle of the seven weeks, –to remove the Church at the rapture. The next thing would be a global broadcast from the capital of the world! It would be something like, “Enemies of a peaceful earth must be rounded up and be punished.” The Antichrist is the spiritual progeny of Satan, the father of lies, ergo, he will find it facilely colorable to blame perceived enemies from Mars or wherever. This will give birth to branding. The number of his name is 666. It will be borne by all, great and small. This will prove that he, the son of perdition, owns the world and all its inhabitants, fronting for Lucifer, the god of this world. The truth, however, is that he cannot exercise his evil force to receive latria from us –the born-again Christians. Read More

Righteousness (2)

We have in Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Our sinful nature, because it happens to be what we are innately guilty of, attracts the ‘wage’ of ‘death.’ We get paid for our wrongdoings. When it comes to ‘righteousness,’ however, it is not of our toil. Jesus toiled for it, so we can only be a recipient of it through the Divine generosity of being a ‘gift.’ A gift is not an original ownership of the recipient. ‘Gift’ of the above verse is charisma (khar'-is-mah): ‘1. a (divine) gratuity, i.e. deliverance (from danger or passion) 2. (specially), a (spiritual) endowment 3. (subjectively) religious qualification 4. (objectively) miraculous faculty.’ The Greek charisma comes from charizomai (khar-id'-zom-ai) ‘to grant as a favor, i.e. gratuitously, in kindness, pardon or rescue.’ Grace, as we understand it, is an unmerited favour.Read More

WHY EVE STUCK TO ADAM (two)

Adam renamed the woman to ensure the continuity of the marriage. It must take after God's vision of: once married, is eternally married: where divorce is a spiritual illogicality which has no locus standi in the heavenly assizes. A proof of the fact that a member of the Church is eternally born again. ".....I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it" [Matthew 16:18]. God had put all necessary ingredients of marital success into the crafting of Adam. He was God's disseminator of the oracular afflatus. God cannot lose. He must have His own desire. Jesus, therefore, got back His bride in Eve, the mother of the living. After the temptation, Adam's wife was able to distinguish between faithfulness of the LORD God and the shenanigan device of the Devil, having been fed with his beguilement. She had learnt her lessons. Eve made her wise choice.Read More

NO COMPROMISE (one)

It is a well-known fact that Job was, personally, guiltless of the predicament he found himself. He faced his trials with a certain equanimity. Tribulations are good for us. They teach us how to wear the fitting robe of patience. It is getting worse these days after six thousand years of Adam's unfortunate act that has plunged man into this quaggy state of depravity.Read More
