Jesus is called LORD or Yahweh in the vatic utterance of Isaiah 40:3 “The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” When you read the Bible and you see LORD (in capitals, in the Old Testament, it is the Hebrew tetragrammaton YHWH or the English Jehovah). Invoked as LORD is Jesus Christ in Joel 2:32 “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.” And it is important to confer with 1Corinthians 1:2-3 2) “Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: 3) Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” John 5:23 reads, “That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father.
