I do not know how Dr. Abel Damina, who teaches and has a whole lot of adherents, reads John 10:30 “I and my Father are one.” Does this unnecessary-controversy-loving pastor interpret the “oneness” of this rhema as “agreement in thoughts” between the Father and the Son only? If that is the only interpretation he sees of this verse contextually then Dr. Abel Damina has forgotten to study the last word ‘one’ which comes from the Greek word heis (hice): ‘numeral one; essence.’ The Father and the Son, according to revealed Scripture, having the same essence destroys Damina’s adherence to Sabellianism which teaches that there is only one Person in the Godhead. Dr. Damina asseverates that God can discard the Father, Son and Holy Spirit if He wishes to. Phew! Unbelievable. Grossly unscriptural, I must state. Sabellianism of Damina’s romantic bent is alien to Scriptural revelation.
