JESUS: The Ancient of Days became the Infant days

1)            Very rare a combination is this reality, found in one entity, only One Entity, indeed, as an unrhetorical. This Entity is King, is the Saviour and also is the Priest Who has His official dwelling in the Rainbow Administration of heaven. He occupies the celestial throne with the Eternal One, the Father, ergo, His essence of the celestial Majesty. He is the salvific given Son of Isaiah 9:6 Who makes the divine revelation of Himself in John 3:16-17, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” It takes an individual of eternality to gain an entry into the sacerdotal office in the empyrean assizes. Only a Being of timelessness can, as a matter of legality, take the sacerdotal stand between a needy Adamic nature and the LORD God, Who sits eternally in heaven. Selah!

God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself (2Cor 5:19)

                The express word of God reveals His Majestic essence thus: “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood” (Revelation 1:5), pointing Him, in gospel fact, as the Personage of John 3:13, “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” Of truth He is the One Who prophetically sits on the white horse, called Faithful and True, and the Warrior Judge, Whose eyes were as a flame of fire; on Whose head sits crowns, and having a name none knew save Himself– is it not only God that knows what none has knowledge of? Called The Word of God, the Bible says, “And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS” (Revelation 19:16). Is this Entity different from the Personage of Deuteronomy 10:17, “For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward”? Of course, He is the same One!

                Of Him does psalmodic chant has the lyrics, “O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endurethfor ever. 3) O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalm 136:2-3). Sagacious Solomonic Proverbs 8:15-16 points Him out thus: “By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. 16) By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.” The Personage of wisdom in this Book of Proverbs is Jesus Christ “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” of Colossians 2:3. And from the exasperated lips of heathen Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel 2:47 reads, “The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.” This God of gods and Lord of kings as well is not different from the fourth Person whose presence, in the furnace of death-sentence passed by Nebuchadnezzar, the annihilating fire turned into a cool air conditioner. The word ‘Lord’ is Aramaic mare’ (maw-ray’) meaning: ‘a master.’ This King, Saviour and Priest is not, in any way, different in Divine essence from the Eternal Father: “Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords” (1Timothy 6:15).

                The first time the word ‘saviour’ appears in Scripture is in Davidic utterance of 2Samuel 22:3, “The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.” The Hebrew word for ‘salvation’ is a verbal yasha` (yaw-shah’): ‘1. (properly) to be open, wide or free from captivity. 2. (by implication) to be safe. 3. (causatively) to rescue or succor.’ The Hebrew Jehovah is the Saviour. Jesus, the Divine King, is the manifestation of the unseeing Saviour. Salvation of mankind is the sole preserve of the Almighty God. The superstructure of the soteriology is the Person of the Divinity. 1Corinthians 3:10-11 “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. 11) For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” The word ‘foundation’ is

themelios (the-me’-liy-os): ‘something put down, i.e. a substructure (of a building, etc.).’ Without Jesus the grand establishment of salvation cannot exist.  “All other ground,” as the hymn goes, “is sinking sand.” Acts 4:11-12 “This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

                Isaiah 49:26 “And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.” ‘Redeemer’ is the Hebraic ga’al (gaw-al’): ‘1. to redeem (according to the Oriental law of kinship). 2. to be the next of kin (and as such to buy back a relative’s property, marry his widow, etc.). 3. to be a kinsman redeemer. 4. (in justice) to be an avenger or protector (of one’s blood or reputation).’ The Saviour manifested as a man to consummate the Adamic redemption.

                Jesus will give you rest only if you will receive His life. Get born again. Say this simple prayer:

“Dear heavenl y Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
