Alpha and Omega

Alpha and Omega is the ‘the all in all,’ without Whom nothing will come into existence. He calls Himself “the Almighty”. To be Almighty expresses His Omnipotence, Omniscience and the unfathomable Omnipresence. Everything has its source in the Almighty Alpha and Omega. Muhammadan Islam will not make mention of this essence of Christ simply because it will defeat Muhammad’s denial of Christ’s divinity. Revelation 3:14, “And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;” John quotes the Visitant to his Island of Patmos confinement. The Greek for ‘Amen’ is amen (a-meen'): ‘1. (properly) firm. 2. (figuratively) trustworthy. 3. (adverbially) surely. 4. (often as interjection) so be it.’ It comes from the Hebraic 'âmên (aw-mane'): ‘1. sure. 2. (abstract) faithfulness. 3. (adverb) truly; 4. so be it, truth.’ There is no way that Jesus would be the ‘AMEN; and He would not be God: for only God can be the personification of Truthfulness. Every uttered “Amen” is an invocation of the Son of God for speedy answer to prayers. Did Muhammad ever vocalize “’Āmīn?” If he did, as several times he said it, he called on the Son of God to agree with his petition before the Father, probably without knowing it! 2Corinthians 1:20 “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” Through Jesus Christ God made every promise. Without Jesus, the Logos, God does not say anything. Christ is the totality of God’s mind, will and purpose. Amen. Read More

Christianity Is The Only Way To Salvation (four)

Revelation 1:8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Alpha and Omega are words that meet with divine protocolary. Being the first and the last of Greek alphabetical characters of word productions, what it prognosticates is that every other letter in between those letters are definitely of Him. Is Jesus the Word of God? Then the conceptual intent of Alpha and Omega points to the fact that every word from or of the Divinity is definitely Jesus Christ. The Personage of Revelation 1:8 is the beginning and the ending, meaning that He has no beginning and no ending. He is the “which is” the Owner of the present time of creation. He is the “which was”, Whose existence goes beyond the eternality of the past. He is the “which is to come” the Master and the Lord of eternity to come. This Person of Revelation 1:8 is the Almighty, the Author of Christianity. Selah!Read More

Jesus does not stop there at Ego eime, but had to leave none in doubt about who is being introduced. The introduction continues with 'Alpha kai Omega.' The Greek 'Alpha' has the definition of: 'the first letter of the alphabet: figuratively only (from its use as a numeral) the first.' The next word is Ō (o'-meg-ah): 'The last letter of the Greek alphabet, that is, (figuratively) the finality.' As the Alpha, Jesus is the preeminent word of God; and without Him God the Father says nothing –what is there to discuss outside the LOGOS? As the Omega, Jesus is the finality of creationism. After Jesus, there is absolutely nothing to say theologically. He is the Logos: the totality of God’s thought, idea, reasoning and intention.Read More

Jehovah’s Witness Myopic View Of Jesus (VI)

Every verbalism that depicts Christological bankruptcy is a betrayal of abject ignorance. Alpha to Omega speaks of wordage and utterance. Alpha, being the first of Greek letters, makes Jesus the first to know before God can be known. What about from beta (the 2nd Greek letter) to psi (the 23rd or 2nd to the last letter)? Jesus fills it for: does the Bible not teach that, "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence" in Colossians 1:18? The reason for all this exegesis on faith is to get us to the right place; and that happens to be in Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" for at His appearance we would need not exercise any more faith having come face to face with Him who is the Amen.Read More

Have you ever asked yourself who did appear to Adam and his wife in the Eden Garden, since we have the scriptural understanding that God is invisible to our eyes? The LORD God of Genesis chapter 3 is the same Jehovah of Genesis 18 and of Revelation 21:22. The same One made an unbelievable declaration in the midst of Jews, in Matthew 12:8, "For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day".Read More

Rev. Chris Okotie explains pantokratōr thus, "Target any distance in your wildest dreams and pantokratōr surpasses it far, by far. Think of atomic and hydrogen bombs together with the most devastating ballistic missiles and they will not come close to pantokratōr in strength”.Read More
