The good Shepherd

HE IS THE WORD OF GOD (three)

Matthew 2:2 “Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” Why worship a new born babe if the revelatory signs do not unveil the Deity from the third heaven; which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty? God revealed to the magicians the Incarnation of the Saviour of the world. They understood that this new born babe is the Messiah, the LORD God of the Bible. They understood that to the Incarnate Christ belonged the latria: to the Holy Babe they bowed in worship. John 3:13 “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” Nicodemus got further flabbergasted when Jesus intimated him with the words of the above verse. Quite abstruse this revelation of Him is. How could He, seated very close to Nicodemus, yet is seated in the throne room of heaven: quite abstruse. How else would one prove the facticity of the Divine ubiquity of Jesus? None can be present in more than one place. Omnipresence is the sole preserve of the LORD God, the Creator. The reason why I have to include the definition of ‘and' is simply to teach the gross error of some teachers of the Bible who insist on Sabellian theological defect which insists that there is only one Person in the Godhead. Kai is an inference to distinction between the Father and the Son in the Godhead. The word ‘are’ is semen (es-men’): ‘First person plural indicative of eime (we are). Eime, when it is used for the Divinity speaks of an existence outside of creationism. If Jesus used eime it means there are more than one Person in the Godhead. Read More

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:24). God the Father cannot be worshipped without the Holy Spirit and Jesus, the Truth! How does “believeth on” Him make Him God? Believeth is grammatically a habitual act. The preposition ‘on', eis (ice), is actually ‘in’ or ‘into’. ‘Believing on’ Jesus means that your faith and trust must have location in Jesus. This belief, scripturally, means that you trust Jesus to save you from your annihilating sinful nature. Only God, the Creator, offers spiritual salvation; and trusting Jesus Christ to thus save you makes Him your Creator: for who should be in possession of parts for repair if not the original Manufacturer, Christ the Creator? Jesus, appearing as a man, and no doubt altogether God, publishes the new religion of God’s Kingdom. “Get yourselves yoked together with Me: for I am the Way, the Truth and the Life to eternality of rest;” is all Jesus Christ is revealing to man that He came to save. If He, as one dwelling in the habiliments of humanity, could live to please God, every serious person who truly wants salvation will succeed if He would follow in total subjection to Jesus, the Divine Author of the soteriology.Read More

Will You Lose The Genuineness Of Your Salvation? (5)

He says pointedly, ‘a man-faced being of Adamic nature’ cannot be justified save by the faith, faith in the word of God. Any person who comes to Jesus, knowing that he was born in sin and wants to be justified, must get born again, a birth engendered solely by the beneficence of Divinity, maintained and perfected by the same God and which has absolutely nothing to do with man’s moral rectitude is what this new birth of soteriology is all about. “Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied” (Jude 1:1-2). God Almighty, the Eternal Father, already knew in the eternal past who will seek to be redeemed. So, what did He do? The Greek word for ‘sanctified’ is hagiazo (ha-ǰiy-a'-zō): ‘1. to make holy, to set apart unto God and apart (alienate) from the world. 2. (ceremonially) to cleanse. 3. (mentally) to reverence.’ What God did was to use His omnipotence to ‘set those who will receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour apart’ unto Himself. Everything that marks the process of salvation is God’s work, therefore, the born again person will continually have the Divine attention of ‘mercy’ (to be forgiven always), ‘peace’ (prosperity in all its ramifications) and ‘love’ (God’s unconditional, protective affection) multiplied unto his soul, simply because this regenerate soul must not be lost. Jehovah’s Witness Myopic View Of Jesus (VIII)

One mind blowing, thought provoking thing He did in John 14:1, when He asseverated, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me;" was to display His equality with the Eternal Father! The truth is that it takes a certain affinity with the eternal Holy Spirit of Jehovah to apprehend the divine reality of His claims. Unfortunately for these Jehovah's Witness adherents, they hate to acknowledge the divine Personage of the Holy Spirit. A spiritual loss! Selah!Read More

HIS TESTIMONY (Part III)

Is it lucidly unambiguous when Jesus declared, in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep?” It was categorical! Jesus gave a testimony of His deity! By this revelation, Jesus unveiled His true identity: Jesus is the LORD (Jehovah) of Psalm 23; and the God (Ēlôhı̂ym) of the third verse of Psalm 80.Read More
