Does The Christ Know Everything? (2)

Most enigmatic Entity to tread upon the terra firma: Jesus Christ.

2) I watched one of the world’s influential pastors, T.D. Jakes preach quoting, Mark 13:32 “But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.” And his conclusion? “Even Jesus doesn’t know everything.” I shook my head, unbelieving the founder of Potter’s House, Pastor T.D. Jakes’ lack of scriptural knowledge. I believe so many pastors of very big churches share this erroneous theology of T.D. Jakes. The answer to this question is found in the dual nature of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man. The Incarnation of Immanuel is the mind-blowing hypostatic union; comprising one hundred percent God and one hundred percent man. Only Jehovah can consummate this phenomenality. Of every scientific compound, there is a consistence of 10% and 90%; 85% and 15%; 4.5% and 95.5% etc. to complete one new hundred percent of a compound.

And the Word (God) became flesh (Adam).
When it comes to the conceptualization of the theological ontologism as pertaining to the soteriology, God decided on the pragmatism of the hypostatic union: for one of the reasons why He created Adam in His image was to possess the legality of not only representing Adam, but to save mankind. The man, Jesus, began his existence as a foetus in Mary’s matrix. And what about Christ? He is the Light of Genesis chapter one verse three, by Whose Omnipotence creationism received the bârâ’ – creation out of absolutely nothing – and the ‛âśâh – creation out of existing materials. Christ is the Personage of John chapter 1 to verse 14. John 1:1-3 1) “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2) The same was in the beginning with God. 3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” This third verse happens to be one of my favourite verses of the Bible. The first reason is the beauty of the Elizabethan flowery couch. The second reason is the categorical disclosure that gives the Authorship of creationism to Christ. The facticity of: “without Him was not anything made that was made” circumstantiates, without any smidgeon of doubt, the Omnipotence of Christ, in that whatever is in existence, big, small or tiny; heavy or light; visible or invisible is the creative handiwork of Christ.

The word, ‘beginning,’ of John 1:1, is the Greek archē (ar-khay’) which alludes to rê’shı̂yth (ray-sheeth’) of Genesis 1:1. The ‘beginning’ here takes one way, way back to time before creation. Christ must be in existence before the creationism to have been the Author and the Architect of everything in existence both extinct and extant. Jesus made a categorical statement in John 10:15 “As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.” The two verbal
‘knoweth’ and ‘know’ are the same Greek ginōskō (ghin-oce’-ko): ‘to become acquainted with; to “know” (absolutely).’ If it is said, “The Father knoweth the Son absolutely,” it is like, no big deal, of course, He is the Father! But when the Word of God says, “The Son knows the Father absolutely,” that accentuates the Omniscience of His Divinity.
Is it possible to be in possession of absolute knowledge of God and not know everything in His mind? Now, before you go, “Eureka!” thinking you have just stumbled on a biblical verse of contradiction, there is absolutely no smidgeon of contradictory verses of the Bible. What Jesus Christ said in Mark 13:32, does not run contrary to John 10:15. Many times we see Jesus talking and behaving like a man. And many times, He talked like the Divine Jehovah of His essence. When He: hungered for food, thirsted for a drink, needed to bath, felt tired and found asleep, that was the humanity of the Christ: Jesus, the man. But when He said: “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh to the Father except by me,” “Before Abraham was I Am”; “Without me, ye canst do nothing” “I am the resurrection and the life”, that was God, the Christ.

Jesus definitely knows everything
One needs to apply the philosophy of ontologism to unravel Jesus Christ’s epithet of Divine appurtenant: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty”. These epithets are absolutely of the Divinity. The remark of Mark 13:32 was made by the humanity of Christ, to Whom the hour and time had not been communicated to. How do I know that the Christ knew the day and hour? The Bible reveals the Omniscience of Christ in Colossians 2:3 “In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Let us look at some words from this verse. ‘Hid’ is apokruphos (ap-ok’-roo-fos): ‘secret; stored up.’ The word ‘treasures’ is thēsauros (thay-sow-ros’): ‘a deposit, that is, wealth (literally or figuratively).’ Sophia (sof-ee’-ah) is the Greek for ‘wisdom’ defined as ‘wisdom in general, and as to experimental and practical truth; whence comes “understanding.”‘ Gnōsis (gno’-sis) is ‘knowledge’ – special and intellectual, in regard to doctrinal truth; whence comes “the full knowledge.”‘ It does not say, “Some, a lot or most of wisdom and knowledge.” It categorically asseverates, “All!” and where are they found? In Christ Jesus, where everything God has, hidden and His treasures are deposited. Most definitely, Christ knew it all. He just did not tell the day and hour to His human companionship.

Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual. Get born again. Say this sinner’s prayer.
“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
