REJECT THE WORDS OF JESUS TO YOUR OWN PERIL (10)

Unbelievable it seems that God the Father will address another by the title “God”, for we know that His glory He gives to none. Hebrews 1:8 “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.” A sect that uses the Bible to teach the Kingdom of God, which goes by the name Jehovah’s Witnesses Society, does not believe in the Deity of Jesus. They have another rendition of the Bible which gives an adulterated translation of this verse as: “The throne of your God is for ever…” but a good study of the Septuagint shows indubitably that the verse comes with the exclamation “O!” proving that this verse is an address to another Person. Does it make grammatical sense writing, “The throne of your O! God is forever?” Skullduggery of Lucifer led to the fall of Adam in Genesis chapter three. Four thousand years down the line, God’s involvement in earthly activities produced the Incarnation, exclusively targeted at the soteriology, designed for the elevation of Adamic phenomenality. Who, personally, among the Persons of the Godhead, is involved in the Incarnation and the soteriological resolution? The Second Member of the Godhead, Jesus Christ, of course. After the sacrificial event, leading to the death on the cross, the burial and the inevitable resurrection, we read, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18). Search the Scriptures and you will discover the Omniscience, omnipotence and Omnipresence of Christ. It is, therefore, not deceitful what one reads in Matthew 12:8 “For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.” His Lordship of the Sabbath indubitably makes Him, Jesus, the LORD God of creation. Your rejection of His Word is done to your own peril.Read More

The Incarnational reality is found in John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” This Divine Personality became a man. Hebrews 2:9-10 “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. 10) For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.” His humanity and Divinity are here expressed. Jesus is the human personality that covered the eternality of Divinity which was made less in status of angels. He that seemed inconsequential in His earthly existence is the One through Whom all things came into being: the Author of creationism. These are some of the things we need to hear, understand and imbibe into our system so that no one will say, “I never knew this fact concerning Jesus Christ, the King of kings, Lord of lords, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty Saviour of the world. Amen.” The Giver of the Ten Commandments is no doubt the One Who followed them in the pillar of cloud and pillar of fire. How do I know this? The Bible has the answer in 1Corinthians 10:1-4.Read More

This Acts of Apostles verse brings our beliefs, thoughts and reasonings before us, placing them beside the Word of God, so that it is clear that the teachings of Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism and Muhammadanism, and other beliefs put together, constitute the sinking sands of all other grounds of religions. Without Jesus Christ there is no salvation of the souls of human beings. It is for this reason the Bible makes the crystal clarity, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1Corinthians 3:11). In a situation where an essential commodity is manufactured by a particular factory, we know, of certainty that there is no way one can buy that product without depending on the sole manufacturing company. When it comes to genuine salvation that comes from the design of Divinity, you must seek Jesus, the Author of the soteriology. I understand that people of the world can decide who to worship, but never so in heaven. Idolatry cannot be tolerated in the heavenly assizes of the Rainbow Administration of Jehovah. So, when it says that adoration of bended knees are offered to Jesus in heaven, it can only mean one thing: Jesus receives equal worship with the Father. It concludes that Jesus is equally God eternal. A day will come when Jesus will come down in fulfillment of His Second Coming. Lucifer will be incarcerated in hell for one thousand years. The Antichrist will be killed for impersonating the Christ. Jesus will rule the earth for a whole millennium, and every knee will bow before Him and every tongue must declare His Lordship: for Jesus is the King of kings and Lord of lords.Read More

Jesus knew what He had come to do, and because of the love He has for mankind, whom He had created in His likeness and image, He endured it all. You know what? No other person matches the Messianic ipseity other than Jesus in the history of mankind. The possibility of the Messiah not being Jesus of Nazareth is ratio one to one billion (1:1000000000), which, mathematically, proves the impossibility of another, other than Jesus, being the Christ, the Saviour of the world. ‘Âdon is used of: a human master of servants (Genesis 24:14&27; Genesis 39:2 and Genesis 39:7); possessor (1Kings 16:24); kings, as lords of their subjects (Isaiah 26:13); the husband, as lord of a wife (Genesis 18:12); hence of God as the possessor and ruler of the world (Genesis 14:19; Deuteronomy 10:17; Psalms 24:1; 50:10; 115:16; Matthew 11:25 & Luke 10:21).The Greek Kurios (koo’-ree-os) has the same understanding of the Hebraic Yehôvâh, ‘ădônây, and ‘Âdon.Read More

How wise is it to choose to ignore the Christ, knowing that He is the Person of Zechariah 12:10? Apocryphal leaning teach that the prophecy about the One coming from Edom with dyed garments is Judas Maccabeus. Historical event actually has the documentation of Judas Maccabeus and his war exploit for he overcame the Idumeans, and killed twenty thousand men. Another supposed character of Isaiah 63:1 is Michael, the archangel. John Calvin interpreted the glorious arrayed warrior as Yahweh trampling down on His enemies while seated on the throne in heaven. His argument is that Isaiah was doing prophetic, “Thus sayeth Yahweh.” Insuperable dissatisfactions, from the point of Scripture, render the above three interpretations unfamiliar to scriptural reading of Isaiah 63:1. God the Father, in truth, was heard saying the words of Psalm 110:1. But we know that the dramatic involvement of this verse (Isaiah 40:3-5), from Calvin’s point, cannot be practically ascribed to the Father, Who is never seen physically, in the Scripture, vacating the empyrean throne. David saw the Messiah through the Holy Spirit’s inspiration, about a thousand years BC. The Jesus David saw will carry the sins of the world, and be counted among sinners bound for hell, but Jesus will not be a candidate of hellish ruination. His body will not see corruption in the sense that there will be no need to break His legs to hasten His crucifixional death, and more importantly, He will not suffer the attendant decay that dead people undergo.Read More

The Christ, the eternal Word of God, became a man; He could only become what, from the eternality of the past, He was not. From the eternal past Jesus Christ was God, face to face with the Father, as the couch of the first verse means. These epithets –Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace – point, unquestionably, to the Deity of Jesus. This is the Scriptural seventy weeks; which unfolding events proved it not to be a literal 490 days but, in actual fact, four hundred and ninety years. Biblical historicity saw the ascension – after His resurrection – of Jesus exactly in the four hundred and eighty-third year after Daniel’s prediction. The remaining seven years has stretched into millennia – an intercalated Church Age – to preach the gospel of Christ which is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. What else can I do, save to exclaim the Pauline, “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out” (Romans 11:33)!Read More

Remove Jesus – God’s eternal spell of the soteriology – from the gospel and there is no salvation. Salvation cannot be found in nowhere else, outside the eternality of the Son of God. Anyone who repudiates the biblical Lordship of Jesus calls God a liar. And that is how serious it is to reject the free salvation the only begotten Son of God came to our world to die for. In the LORD Jesus we live, move and have our being, the moment we get born again. In His scriptural disquisition with Nicodemus, the great Jewish religious teacher, Jesus led him into amazing spiritual insight, which left Nicodemus in total stupor. Being born again is a spiritual regeneration: a total overhaul of the Adamic sinfulness, to the creation of a new gene that absolutely matches divine essence. One becomes irreproachably God’s next of kin. God’s desire becomes your will, because you are being controlled by the indwelling Holy Spirit.Read More
