Who Is Abel Damina Working For? (viii)

“God has never been angry,” taught Dr Abel. He shot his didactic feet for maintaining, “Anger is strange to God. God has never been angry before. He is not angry now; and He will never be angry.” Damina why are you so bent on prevarication of God’s Bible? Genesis 6:6 “And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.” The contrariness of Damina’s mind said, “God has never been angry.” Abraham said to the LORD God in His preincarnation manifestation of Genesis 18:24 “Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?” Damina, why, tell me, will God destroy the lives of two big nations if not out of anger? In Exodus 4:24-26, God would have killed Gershom, the son of Moses and Zipporah, his wife, for not abiding by the covenant of the circumcision. Concerning God’s anger, these are the lyrics of the psalmist: “Who knoweth the power of thine anger? Even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath” (Psalm 90:11). It also says, “Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry” (Psalm 76:7)? What does it mean by “For our God is a consuming fire” that we read in Hebrews 12:29? It is a warning to those who, with lackadaisical attitude, treat the gospel of redemption with levity.Read More

This is an unedited statement of Dr Abel Damina: “If you follow the Bible you will be poor all your life.” As if that was not damning enough he went on, “This is the reason why Christians are the poorest people on earth.” It is the political title of the soon coming King, Jesus Christ, Who will rule for one whole thousand years on this very earth. That He will rule for one thousand earthly years is another Scriptural fact Damina jettisons, believing that Jesus is not coming back again. Why is He Jehovah Tsabbaoth? The true empyrean hosts or armies are His creation (Genesis 2:1). He is none other than the LORD of hosts in 1Samuel 1:3. The LORD Jesus is the Head of the Church. So, tell me something here. Where will I go when I need to have whatever need confronts me; is it not Jesus? Where two or three are gathered in His name to raise holy hands to the Most High, is it not the Church? The Church, I have come to understand, is the one stop shop for all spiritual needs. The one against our happiness, Satan, is a spiritual evil being, whose abode is outside the Church. Where does Abel Damina tell his congregation to seek wealth? He said categorically, “If you want to make money, go outside the Church.” And that is what any great motivational speaker will teach you. If God will bless us in His capacity as the “LORD of hosts” does it not show everyone that He is going to war on our behalf to provide for those of us who seek wealth through the Church protocol? The great wealth of money Abel Damina wields is, definitely, not from the One Whose ownership is the cattle on thousands of hills, because it is acquired outside the Church of Jehovah Shammah. Now let us look at the word ‘covenant’; it is the Hebrew berı̂yth (ber-eeth’) meaning: '1. alliance, pledge, agreement (man to man) or between God and man. 2. (in the sense of cutting) a compact (because made by passing between pieces of flesh).’ Again God told Noah who led Adamic creatures from the antediluvian age to the postdiluvian era, “And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you” (Genesis 9:9); and the said seed after him are his Adamic progenies. And when Divine scrutiny found Abraham trustworthy, the Mosaic account, as God revealed to him in Genesis 17:1-5 reads, 1) “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. 2) And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. 3) And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4) As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5) Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.” What Bible do these people (Abel Damina and Chris Oyakhilome) read? They teach that God never had any covenant with man. God being the Keeper of covenant, He must show Himself to the last of the three patriarchs of Israel to validate the personal covenant He had entered with man; and Jacob woke up from his sleep; holding the patriarchal baton of the covenant between God and man. God did not just think of the ark as a means of Noachian salvation, He was the Architectural Engineer of the ark. What He had purposed to do long before the creation of any intelligent being, the LORD God instructed Noah to do. God did, truly, tell Noah to build the ark. Let me quote Damina to see whether his teaching agrees with the above revealed Mosaic Book, “God didn’t tell Noah to build an ark. It was Noah who decided to build an ark as a means of communicating what God revealed to him.” The spirit of deceitfulness dwells, of sooth, dangerously, in the heart of Abel Damina. Do not be Damina-swayed, be warned. I, honestly, do not see the rationale behind Damina’s teaching that has the topic: “Tithing is not for the New Testament Church.” Who was the first person to decide, from his heart, to tithe his possession? It was Abraham. Was Abrahamic tithe triggered by divine law of the Old Testamentary economy? No, it was not. Two forces I know are responsible for Adamic resolve: the force of Good and the force of Satanism. Was it the gentle whisper of Satanism that prompted Abraham’s offer of the first ever tithing or was it inspired by the Spirit of God? That this man could muster up a wicked boldacity without a bit of conscience twist, teaching that, “God never entered into covenant with man,” is a diabolical deviation from scriptural facticity. Actually, Dr Damina does have an eisegetical ally in the pastoral faux pas of Dr Chris Oyakhilome.Read More

Damina, you cannot rewrite or edit the Bible. I want to believe that Abel Damina is one of the preachers who do not believe in the rapture; the best thing he can do is to make nonsense of any verse of the Bible that stands in his eisegetical crave. The Bible does not give the slightest hint of the angels’ scriptural ignorance. Have I not heard you, Damina, saying, “When the Scripture is loud, be loud; but where the Bible is silent, be silent?” Abel Damina is shunning ethical standards of scriptural didacticism just to teach scriptural anomalies. The Bible says Jesus parted from them heavenward into the clouds; is that not ascension? Is Damina not today’s Cerintus? Damina has, definitely, come to steal, kill and to destroy the truth of the gospel, and so unfortunately, he has teeming like-minded people in their millions, probably. Is it not true that billions of followership does not necessarily translate to living in the veracity of the revealed Word of God? There are more in the camp of Satanism than in the Church of the Living God.Read More

Is there any smidgeon of reason why God will ever choose to lie? He has nothing untoward to hide. Jehovah is the absolute Truth. In Him is found not deceit. His inability to lie will cause whatever He says to be true! What is viewed as His incapability to lie underscores the strength of His Almighty character. Rather than effect an opening of vista of His weakness, the impossibility of His lying stance breadthens the LORD God’s incorruptibility. Because God cannot lie, this demonstrates His Fatherhood of lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning (James 1:17). The lying heart definitely belongs to a vacillatory idiot. The scriptural rectitude agrees with Pastor Damina and other pastors that what God cannot do does exist. Because God cannot lie He, most definitely, cannot commit any sin. Sinfulness dwells in the midst of antagonism against the express word of God. And this is the very reason why God cannot commit any sin: He will never go against His Word. His Word, Jesus Christ, is the Truth. Dr Abel Damina teaches that “Jesus did not ascend to heaven.” Let us look at some of his arguments for this teaching: i. After His resurrection, Jesus was purely immaterial, therefore, He could change to whatever He wanted or even disappear. ii. It was an angel who spoke the words of Acts 1:11; an angel who did not know much: according to Abel Damina, he maintains that what the angel told the disciples has no scriptural corroboration.Read More
