The Trinity

10)          That the term Trinity is not found in the Bible does not necessarily mean that it is not Scriptural. Can it be read, in black and white, where Jesus says, “I am God, your Creator”? You cannot find it. But I can, with all sincerity, tell you that, of the Deity of Jesus it is copiously implied in the holy writ. When He said, “Before Abraham was I am,” He truly called Himself Jehovah Eloahh, the Creator. When He told the disciples, “I am the good Shepherd,” He pointedly told them, “I Am the God of your fathers.” He said to the unbelieving Jews in Matthew 12:8 “For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.”What did He do? The Christ revealed the duality of the hypostatic union – Jesus (Son of mortality) and the Christ (the Eternal, uncreated LORD of creationism) – enigmatic fusion of God and man. Jesus told them the theological truth, “I am the Jehovah you and your fathers worship on Sabbath days.”

                In the holy of holies room of the Jerusalem Temple dwelt the Holy Spirit up until the sacrificial death of the Lamb of God. Did God vacate the empyrean throne when He sat to receive Jewish daily oblations all those centuries? If you cannot find anywhere God the Father vacated the throne for one earthly second, then, inclusive of Jesus Christ, there are Three of Them! Selah! Celestial drama unfolded in Revelation chapter 5 proving distinction of the Persons of the Godhead. Waited, God did to make sure that no intelligent being of creationism will dare come forward to take the scroll from His Divine hand. Then strolled Jesus, in all the magnificence of Deity, and did what none could ever do. Christ stretched His own hand of eternality to take from the hand of the Ancient of days – it takes the hand of eternality to take and to open what the Eternal Father holds. Amen. In the Godhead dwells the mystery of the three distinct Persons of creationism.

Dr. Abel Damina

                When one believes he has his congregation firmly under the control of his thumb, he continues to look for more dominant ways. Damina does not agree with the Bible, saying, “Jesus is not the Lion of Judah.”How can this man just not acknowledge the metaphorical allusion at literary play here? Even if a simile is employed in this regard, does it make Jesus an unruly beast of jungle? Rather than enjoy the metaphor, Dr Damina chose to read an unnecessary malapropism to glorify his habitual eisegetical approach to Scripture. Scripture, as we understand, must explain scriptural mind of theology. So, how does Scripture support Scripture in this case? The elder who spoke to John knows Scripture, as opposed to Damina’s faux pas; the elder recollects Genesis 49:9-11 where the first words are, “Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up” (Genesis 49:9)?

                Bent on teaching wrongfully, Abel Damina cannot see the metaphorical majestic stance of the Lion of Judah. Patriarch Jacob looked admirably at his son, Judah, and communicated the vision of God, prophesying, “In line with your destiny, you are a lion’s cub, in representative capacity of the Messiah. In Christ of your representation, you will overcome the preying evil of Adamic fall to enjoy the soteriological victory. Couching as the Ancient of Days, who will dare rouse the Christ, seated at the right hand of Majesty”? This is what Damina cannot see.

Jacob and family

                Let us take a critical look at Damina’s claim that, “Abraham was a dubious businessman;” he did not stop there; he went on to malign the character of Abraham’s grandson, saying, “Jacob too used Benjamin as collateral to make money.”How does one explain Damina’s rationale behind teaching that Abraham proved to be a dubious man, sourcing his Bible text from Genesis chapters 12 and 20; involving Pharaoh of Egypt and Abimelech of Gerar respectively? Did Abraham lie from the spirit of a swindler when he said, “Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee” (Genesis 12:13)? Had Abraham made up his mind to cozen both monarchs and God would not reprieve him? Do Mosaic accounts of the historical events make any reference to Abraham’s vocational rascality? Contrary to Damina’s cautioning to be silent when the Bible is silent and be loud when the Bible so is, Damina is outrageously loud where there is no biblical authorization.

Jacob blessed all his children in Genesis 43:3-14

                What about Jacob, the father of the twelve tribes of Israel? The Bible speaks clearly of what transpired. Genesis 43:3-14 3) “And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you. 4) If thou wilt send our brother with us, we will go down and buy thee food: 5) But if thou wilt not send him, we will not go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you. 6) And Israel said, Wherefore dealt ye so ill with me, as to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother? 7) And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? Have ye another brother? And we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down? 8) And Judah said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and also our little ones. 9) I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the blame for ever: 10) For except we had lingered, surely now we had returned this second time. 11)And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds: 12)And take double money in your hand; and the money that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an oversight: 13) Take also your brother, and arise, go again unto the man: 14)And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.”

                Where is Jacob’s act of using his last born as collateral to make money from the Egyptian lord? Who insisted on taking Benjamin along, was it Jacob, their father, or Judah? Damina is simply messing with the Word of God. Would God be happy with whoever tries to treat His Book with prevarication? This is why I am asking, “Who is Abel Damina working for?”

Get born again by saying this simple prayer.

“Dear heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus Christ. I believe in my heart that Jesus is the Son of God. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sin. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I receive Him now as my Lord and my Saviour. I give God all the glory. Amen!”
