In the first three and a half years of seven allotted years that completes the 490 years (Daniel’s vatic seventy weeks), the Antichrist will bring peace to the world. He must do that. It is the pattern of the Christ during His ministry’s days on earth: he went about doing good things. The Antichrist will have no choice, according to Divine protocol, to do good works. But he cannot bring perfect peace like Jesus whose peaceful reign will last for one thousand years. Now, which of the two above does Pastor Adeboye represent, the Lord Jesus or the Antichrist? This is why I am totally in disagreement with the G.O. of the RCCG and I do not think he is in full grasp of this idea of bringing peace to the world. If Adeboye understands the full import of what he is toying with, then I can categorically tell him that he is dining with Lucifer! Does he, Pastor Adeboye, understand that going against the express Word of God is tantamount to calling the LORD God a liar? Does it not publish the mind of God in Psalm 138:2, where it explicitly says “…for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name?” His Word, has been with Him before anything was created, ergo, uncreated; this Word, which is also characterized by the triune almightiness of omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence, the LORD God has enlarged in exceeding excellence above every high and loftiness of His divine names. Getting born again is strictly a spiritual, conscious effort on the part of an individual. After getting born again a Christian’s life is hidden in the righteousness of Divinity. Colossians 3:3-4 “For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4) Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” What does this Pauline verse mean by “For ye are dead?” It means that the Christian is dead as far as sinfulness is concerned. What this implies is that we cannot be held accountable for punishment due to a sinner. This is what Christianity is all about, Pastor Adeboye. We are hidden in the Just One, Jesus Christ, the same Whose Divine life is now rightfully ours. We are doubly safe: for our hiding place is both in Christ and God the Father. The word ‘hid' is kruptō (kroop’-to): ‘to hide, conceal, to be hid; escape notice; metaphorically to conceal (that it may not become known).’ We cannot be known to death: we have been hidden from the annihilation of hell. Jeremiah 23:6 “In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” How can we lose this life of the soteriology when it says that Jesus Christ is our righteousness? Are you not attempting to contaminate Divine righteousness when and if you try to use your carnality to maintain your salvation? Selah! Pastor S.O., who, in all vehement seriousness, sees me as being too small to find fault with Adeboye sees nothing wrong in the habit of members of the RCCG going to kneel before the G.O.’s seat after Church service to offer special prayers, placing their hands on the seat as a point of divine contact. “I have done that sometimes myself,” Pastor S.O. proudly admits, not knowing that the act proves his spiritual puerility. Does the Bible not record the teaching of, “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you” (Matthew 17:20). You see, spiritual small-mindedness will lead you to your despicable minification. That which makes the likes of S.O. to clothe Adeboye in infallibility, will accord the G.O. supererogatory latria without they being aware of it! Are the ‘dead saints' of Catholicism not prayed to, with bended knees? It is nothing short of latria! Now let us look at the theological faux pas of G.O. Adeboye’s actions. Unbeknown to the G.O. his instruction to the praying congregants to focus on a mere staff is an introduction to idolatry. The staff has its history. It was given to him by his spiritual predecessor, Pastor Josiah Akindayomi, the founder of the church, which was originally a ‘White Garment’ church. White garment churches are known for so many unscriptural stuffs. They believe that only the true members in their midst are the white robbed worshippers among them. By Tradition is meant human teachings. The Pharisees believed the same way, and Jesus condemned them, for by human tradition they nullified the commandments of God. Adeboye’s claim that the LORD God told him to gather leaders of all global faiths and take power from politicians of the world for failing to provide good government and ultimately “bring peace to the world.” The young man said, “I cannot judge him.” The third man in this discourse, Pastor S.O., in visibly fit of effusive rage, “How can you condemn, him? It is Father Adeboye we are discussing here!” was Pastor S.O.’s vehement contribution, in his firm and unresolved belief that I am too small to investigate Adeboye’s utterances. Is G.O. Adeboye more scripturally knowledgeable than Simon Peter, who followed Jesus for three and a half years, who also is one of the Apostolic Fathers that nurtured the nascent Church into adulthood? Jesus Christ as the Creator, Governor and the Preserver of the redeemed, fills perfectly and completely the entire universe even to overflowing. This fact has the corroboration of Colossians 3:11. The problem with Lucifer is that he cannot, like all intelligent beings of the creationism, produce a physical manifestation of himself in more than one place. Some may want to ask, “Why did Jesus say that the day of the end-time is unknown to all save the Father?” They believing that even Jesus, by His pronouncement, agrees that He does not know the day of tribulation. What many Bible readers do not understand is that there is a difference between the humanity of Him as Jesus, and His Divinity as the Christ, Who is the Word of God. Uncreated: for He exists before the creation of time. If through Him all things visible and invisible came into being, then He is truly God’s Fellow of Whom the Scripture says, “Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him” (Proverbs 8:30): where ‘one brought up’ is the Hebrew 'amown (aw-mone'): ‘skilled, i.e. an architect [probably in the sense of training].’ Can the historical documentation of universal occurrences ever stumble on a particular time when the Father and the Son walked side by side, growing up as brothers or as in architectural training? The promise was made looking into the future, to the Incarnation of Emmanuel, by Whose blood true mediation comes to its consummation. While Ishmael represented the legality of religious ritualism that leads not to the soul’s salvation, Isaac is the prefiguration of the Messiah. Adamic existence depends solely on the Messiah for redemption. The Promise is absolutely free from any legality. God Himself takes the responsibility of its continuation and enternality of its security. What emanated from the bondwoman, incongruous to Divine purpose, lacks Godliness; however, the product of the freewoman conforms to the eternal counsel of the Divinity: for this reason the LORD God chose not Ishmael. The Quranic ‘Injil’ i.e. the Gospels were written decades after the earthly life, death, burial, resurrection, ascension and session of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ did not write one letter of what Muhammad calls injil – purportedly given to Jesus, the way Allah inspired the Qur’an, as it is found in the 57th chapter of the Quran in the 27th verse. The Jews, taking pride in being the covenant children of Abraham before Jesus, the Christ, told them who is greater by the asseverative, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am” (John 8:58). Why would Muhammad claim that his Islamic missionary prophetic office predates the creation of Abraham? Again I turn to the Bible for the answer – for Scripture must explain Scripture. John 17:24 “Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.” Before the creation of anything at all, the Son had fellowship with the Father; which Muhammad could not lay claim to. Methinks Allah is just one individual. Where, I need to ask, cometh the plurality of Allah to be accorded the plural pronoun of “We”? Islamism will claim, “It’s in reverence to, La hawla wa la quwwata illa Billah”! I do not see any reverential sense in it. Study older manuscripts of the Qur’an, and you will not miss out on the plurality of the deities of Islam. Before Jesus conquered death, which He must, to consummate soteriology, He led the spirit of death, Satan and his evil principalities in a triumphant procession to heaven. Jesus is the first to resurrect from death; He, as the Adonai, must of necessity take preeminence in all things. Does the Qur’an give any empyreal insight into where Muhammad went after his death? Allah, obviously, did not prepare his last prophet for his eventual demise, to enable Muhammad to tidy up the Quranic documentation of his empyrean entry after death. His name, Muhammad means praiseworthy; Ahmad means one who praises Allah more than others; Al-Mahi means Allah will eliminate Al-Kufr (infidelity) through him; he is Al-Hashir – the first to be resurrected, the people being resurrected thereafter; and he is also Al-‘Aqib, after whom there will be no other Prophet. These are very good credentials, no doubt. Of the one hundred and fifty Psalms in the Bible, David alone wrote seventy-eight of them. Go through Davidic Psalms and you will be marvelled at the piety of David’s heart of praise. Show me the Qur’anic praises of Muhammad, not forgetting to add those contained in the Hadiths as well; and I will open the Biblical Psalms and you can judge for yourself which of the hearts of Muhammad and David is closer to the Almighty Creator. The Davidic Psalm 110 opens with, “The LORD said to my Lord, sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thine footstool.” That which was not intended for the ears of man, God allowed David to eavesdrop. The first LORD (in capitals) is the covenant name, JEHOVAH, of God.
