In the ventilation of the vaticinatory erudition of Isaiah, Jesus received sobriquets of, Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6). The Hebraic pele' (peh’-leh) is the English ‘Wonderful’, meaning: 'miracle (extraordinary, hard to understand thing).’ This is the reason why I have always maintained that Jesus is the most enigmatic Person to tread on the surface of terra firma. The phenomenality of the miraculous is exclusively God’s métier. The look-alike of miracle, seemingly, is the demonic magic – fraught with manipulations of Satanism. It is purely miraculous: the Incarnation – when God became a man. The ancient of days became the Infant of days. Sheer act of miracle it is that the Eternal King, our Saviour, Jesus Christ, continues to sit in the sacerdotal office of the celestial Tabernacle for the preservation of man’s redemption. The face of Jesus Christ is ‘an exact copy’ of the Eternal Father, ever seated on the empyrean throne. This enables us to have perfect understanding of Philippians 2:6 “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:” which has the Greek morphe (mor-fee') for the English ‘form’ meaning not only: ‘form but (intrinsically) fundamental nature.’ Jesus does not only look just as the Father, He, intrinsically, is, fundamentally, of the Divine nature. Spiritually speaking, Jesus, and none other, holds the tripartite offices of the King, Saviour and the High Priest of the redeemed body of Christ who will live like kings and priests to the glorification of the Most High. Can there be another High Priest other than Jesus? Can history of the universe point to any other person who did tread upon this terra firma for decades and committing not a smidgeon of sin? Unbelievable it seems that God the Father will address another by the title “God”, for we know that His glory He gives to none. Hebrews 1:8 “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.” A sect that uses the Bible to teach the Kingdom of God, which goes by the name Jehovah’s Witnesses Society, does not believe in the Deity of Jesus. They have another rendition of the Bible which gives an adulterated translation of this verse as: “The throne of your God is for ever…” but a good study of the Septuagint shows indubitably that the verse comes with the exclamation “O!” proving that this verse is an address to another Person. Does it make grammatical sense writing, “The throne of your O! God is forever?” Skullduggery of Lucifer led to the fall of Adam in Genesis chapter three. Four thousand years down the line, God’s involvement in earthly activities produced the Incarnation, exclusively targeted at the soteriology, designed for the elevation of Adamic phenomenality. Who, personally, among the Persons of the Godhead, is involved in the Incarnation and the soteriological resolution? The Second Member of the Godhead, Jesus Christ, of course. After the sacrificial event, leading to the death on the cross, the burial and the inevitable resurrection, we read, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth” (Matthew 28:18). Search the Scriptures and you will discover the Omniscience, omnipotence and Omnipresence of Christ. The Incarnational reality is found in John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” This Divine Personality became a man. Hebrews 2:9-10 “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. 10) For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.” His humanity and Divinity are here expressed. Jesus is the human personality that covered the eternality of Divinity which was made less in status of angels. This Acts of Apostles verse brings our beliefs, thoughts and reasonings before us, placing them beside the Word of God, so that it is clear that the teachings of Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism and Muhammadanism, and other beliefs put together, constitute the sinking sands of all other grounds of religions. Without Jesus Christ there is no salvation of the souls of human beings. It is for this reason the Bible makes the crystal clarity, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1Corinthians 3:11). In a situation where an essential commodity is manufactured by a particular factory, we know, of certainty that there is no way one can buy that product without depending on the sole manufacturing company. How wise is it to choose to ignore the Christ, knowing that He is the Person of Zechariah 12:10? Apocryphal leaning teach that the prophecy about the One coming from Edom with dyed garments is Judas Maccabeus. Historical event actually has the documentation of Judas Maccabeus and his war exploit for he overcame the Idumeans, and killed twenty thousand men. Another supposed character of Isaiah 63:1 is Michael, the archangel. John Calvin interpreted the glorious arrayed warrior as Yahweh trampling down on His enemies while seated on the throne in heaven. His argument is that Isaiah was doing prophetic, “Thus sayeth Yahweh.” Insuperable dissatisfactions, from the point of Scripture, render the above three interpretations unfamiliar to scriptural reading of Isaiah 63:1. Prophet Isaiah expressly gave the description of beards covered cheeks of the expected Messiah in the vaticination of Isaiah 50:6 “I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.” Is this not a Messianic prophecy Honestly, it is astounding that the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church majors on holiness and righteousness as if that is the only thing the born again Christian needs. When Jesus made the affirmation, “I will build my Church,” there is an addendum to that asseveration, “and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it;” making it known to all and sundry that the Church He will build will be divinely protected by Him of Whom all things consist. The Church is made up of saved souls of Christianity. There, most certainly, is an unimpeded divine security of salvation. Who can help me reach out to Pastor Kumuyi that the life of Christianity dwells no more in the free moral agency of individual child of the Most High? It has moved into the custody of the Godhead. The Father instituted the call; Jesus covers every Christian in His righteousness, while the Holy Spirit takes eternal abode in the spirit realm of every child of God. This is how serious God treats the soteriology. Three times divinely insured is the zōē the born again Christian exists in. God is the Insurer; He has settled every financial commitment of the insurance; what can go wrong if the LORD God is the faithful One? Nothing! The Church is God’s biggest deal. Of this salvation is this facticity that the teachers of the possibility of loss of salvation fail to acknowledge. This salvation is in actual fact a betrothal to the Divinity. If this be scripturally so, why will God put us away? Two verses before this one reads, “Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder” (Matthew 19:6). Will the LORD God’s Omniscience look for a bride whose marriage to the Second Member of the Godhead will end up in termination? Why should God say, “Amen,” to a conjugation that will not mirror what it is from the beginning? Will God not have failed in keeping His marriage, being the Almighty, if a saved soul loses it? These things Cyprian of Carthage, St. Augustine of Hippo and Jacobus Arminius fail to acknowledge before teaching the possibility of a born again Christian not being able to persevere in the journey of Adamic salvation. Does the Author of the soteriology not asseverate, “And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28). Can the mortality of my carnal frame carry out any smidgeon of maintenance on this new life in Jesus? If there is something required for my personal sustention of God’s soteriology, it means that I have to continue from where Jesus performed the Golgotha sanguineous sacrificial consummation. Augustinian ‘gift of perseverance’ means that only those that God arbitrarily predestined to save will be given the gift to persevere. Why will a good Jehovah God arbitrarily decide to create some people for eternal, hellish damnation? It does not look a smidgeon of the God of the Bible. This is what really happens. God has a faculty that enables Him to see and know absolutely everything that is going to happen. For this simple reason, His Omniscience, knowing who will and will not receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour, those who will do His divine will hear the gospel and be spiritually transformed. It is for the same rationality that God will say, “Jacob I have loved, Esau I have hated.” Cyprian argued that each day of Genesis consisted of 1000 years. “The first seven days in the divine arrangement contain seven thousand years” (Treatises 11:11 [A.D. 250]). Does this make any Scriptural sense at all? What does Mosaic Genesis creation days mean by, “And the evening and the morning were the first day?” The same goes for each of the subsequent second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth days. Is this not clearly a twenty-four hour period for each day? What about the Sabbath, seventh day of God’s rest, was it a whole one thousand years of Sabbath rest? Did it take God one thousand years to create Adam and his wife? How does one explain Genesis 7:24 in the light of Cyprian’s each day consisting of 1,000 years? The verse reads, “And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.”Did Cyprian believe that those days were actually one hundred and fifty thousand years of antediluvian rainfall of the great deluge? Long before Arminius, Saint Augustine of Hippo (354-430 AD) had taught the possibility of losing one’s salvation. Can Saint Augustine who upheld so many unbiblical teachings be trusted? “I should not believe the Gospel except as moved by the authority of the Catholic Church” (St. Augustine, Against the Epistle of Manichaean Called Fundamental, 5, 6). Can Catholicism be more authoritative than the Bible? In fashioning purgatorial establishment of Catholicism, “Temporal punishments are suffered by some in this life only, by some after death, by some both here and hereafter, but all of them before that last and strictest judgment. But not all who suffer temporal punishments after death will come to eternal punishments, which are to follow after that judgment” (St. Augustine of Hippo, Father and Doctor of the Church, The City of God). Purgatory runs contrary to Hebrews 9:27, “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” so, how can this teaching stand, biblically. Antagonism against security of salvation: it spread like wild fire with the teaching of Jacobus Arminius: he got it from Saint Augustine who also received it from Bishop Cyprian of Carthage (c. 210-258 A.D.), one of the so-called Church Fathers– a creation of Catholicism – of whom many of their teachings uphold the illegitimacy of Popery headship of the universal body of Christ. Cyprian believed in infant baptism and infant communion. Cyprian however spoke against the efficiency of baptism done by heretics and insisted on their rebaptism, and he believed that the Eucharist cannot be properly consecrated outside the church. Honestly, I want to believe that some Christians would want to believe that they did God a favour which, otherwise, would have resulted in the failure which would have chimed reverberations through eternity if they had not stood in the gap of adhering to His call. They probably believe they saved that eternal shame. It will not surprise me if such people think that God would not have had His desire met; and that failure would stare at His Almighty's eternal visage for the rest of His eternal life. They believe they participated in this salvation. Thinking that one has a hand in this Divine salvation leads to believing that this salvation can be lost. Logical trajectory of human cogitation will tend towards the conclusion that a salvation that has human participation can, definitely, slip out of one’s hands if one commits a sin which constitutes a breaking away from God’s covenant. That which counterfeits other ways of salvation is the unresolved lacunary sin question issue in their teachings. Let us see Jehovah's reaction to all the sanguinaceous activities of the Temple. "To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats" [Isaiah 1:11]. These slaughtering stem from the carnal proclivities of religious insincerity, as far as God is concerned. John 3:13 is laden with so much profundity; "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." There was no way Mohammed could have been what Jesus claims to be here in John 3:13. Only the unique Son of God could perfect this stunt of being present in heaven and on earth simultaneously! Muhammad could not go the whole hog of John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." It entails His Sonship, which Muhammad grossly lacked. An interesting point concerning this religion is that one is never really sure about his salvation. Muslims can do all the right things and still not be saved because Allah may decide to consider you deficient in some way or another that only he knows.
