REVEREND CHRIS OKOTIE (three)

I have my own testimony. Four times in two years I had slumped. Several people slumped not more than once and they were just dead! Three times it happened at home, once in church, of all places and moreover on an Easter Sunday. I truly sensed the attack the fourth time. And I remember telling the Lord, "I don't want to slump! I mustn't!" The Devil had his way but he lost the battle and the war. Praise the Lord.Read More

The Pastor of Household of God is of the understanding that whatever you bring to church is unto the Lord and if HE has acknowledged your pious gesture, then it is settled. When the altar call is consummated, the Reverend will tell the nascent converts among other things, "If you like our Church, we invite you to be part of what we are doing; but if for any reason you cannot come here, talk to Jesus and He'll lead you to another Church where you'll be comfortable, but you must go to Church." I do not know how many pastors will continue to say this to every Sunday and Wednesday new converts. Very few you will say this, if there is any. Their perceptive stance drums it too loudly and clearly into the core of their beings that the church is their personal investment. Definitely not the Okotie, my Pastor that I have seen for decades.Read More

The ebullience of Rev. Chris Okotie has continued to unravel the mystery of the Lord Jesus Christ, using God's own protocol, the Bible. At the diamond age of sixty, this June 16th of 2018, he is still waxing strong in the pedagogical dissemination of scriptural veracity. This, none can take away from the one who goes by the sobriquet, 'My Prince' or 'My Pastor' by Householders i.e. Church members.Read More

What is the connection between the ‘I am’ and the shepherd? Psalm 23 opens with “The LORD is my Shepherd” where the title ‘LORD’ is Yhovah (yeh-ho-vaw') ‘1. (the) self-Existent or Eternal 2. Jehovah, Jewish national name of God.’ In Psalm 80 the first verse reads: “Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.” If the Shepherd of this verse is not Jehovah God, then Jesus never trod upon the surface of this terra firma. So, when Jesus declared, “I am the good shepherd” the definite article points in the direction of the One no Israelite would feign not to know: the Almighty LORD God of Israel! Amen!Read More

2Corinthians 5:21, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” The auxiliary ‘hath’ perfects the main verb ‘made’ which in the Greek is poieo (poy-eh'-o): ‘to make or do {in a very wide application, more or less direct; properly refers to a single act}.’ The Bible does not use another differing ‘made’ prasso (pras'-so) meaning: ‘to practice, i.e. perform repeatedly or habitually.’ The righteousness which the Lord ‘made’ for us is a once and forever righteousness. No one needs to do anything about this righteousness again, in fact any human righteousness will only pollute what Jesus has perfectly made.Read More

"For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory" [Colossians 3:3-4]. The word 'hid' is kruptō (kroop'-to) to conceal (properly by covering).' The righteousness that marks us out as Christians is veritably a clothing and Jesus is essentially the covering. We do not have in our possession any inherent righteousness. And the reality on the scriptural ground is that only this same Jesus has the capability of the competence to keep us in this state of Godly righteousness. We have the same life as Jesus for we are, in the strictest sense, in this righteous journey together for it says that: "Christ, who is our life." Amen. Read More

THE LORD OF EXODUS (part 3)

He must of the necessity of legality rebuke the stormy ocean to authenticate His divine Lordship even over the waters. Water, in scripture represents humanity or the word. The Lord did not rebuke the water actually. It was the evil spirit of Satanism that was silenced and muzzled. Kept in check and the perfect consummation of which will be effected when he is imprisoned for one whole thousand years! And these are the reasons why He did take that walk away from Moses (whose sunny countenance they could not phantom) so as to enable this rendezvous. Jesus, the Rock of ages, in His preincarnate manifestation, is the LORD God of Exodus 34:6-7. Amen! Hallelujah!Read More

The Bible teaches, "And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped" [Exodus 34:8]. Could Moses have bowed in obeisant worship of an angel? Jehovah alone deserves the description of "Awesome!!" None else can be defined as: 'inspiring an adorable reverence, and fear mingled with wonder!' Who? Selah.Read More

LUCIFER’S DESIDERATION: God of gods (5)

The kingdom of Christ is a population of initiated ones. God had concluded His intentions before bringing forth any being. Lucifer, being a spirit personality, is able to apprehend these things. Nobody knows the end of the antediluvian miscreants of Cain's enclave, not even the age attained by any of them. The Bible is silent about it simply because the lives they lived did not honour Jehovah God. But we know the days of Enoch, the antediluvian saint, and others who walked with God. His 'walk' was pleasing to his Maker. The Hebrew word for 'walk' is halak, meaning 'lifestyle.'Read More

Every nation had at once worshipped a god or another deity. That is a picture of immense joy to Satanic cackle for having the actualities of god of gods in favour of Lucifer. There are worshipful masters of esoteric assemblages. The masters give obeisance to Lucifer or an idol of demonic personage. Satan basks in an ecstasy of god of gods. Finally, he has successfully shot himself into material existence of what he was accused of in Isaiah 14:13-14 (13) "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: (14) I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."Read More

Is witchcraft not truly global? Its operations is older than man. Does Satan himself not sit atop all forms of wizardry as its god? He is the founder of all esoteric cults. From Cain's enclave in the eastern Eden of 'Nod' to the well-established Nimrodic tower of Babel, the Satanic beat went throbbingly well as diabolically planned in the world's first super-power Egypt. 'Nod' means 'wandering (of aimless fugitive), exile, and vagrancy.'Read More

Purgatory. Just why this unscriptural indoctrination of purgatory when the Bible unequivocally teaches, "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" [John 3:3]? Baby Jesus must be tied to Mary, mother of God, queen of the saints, queen of the angels or much better still "queen of heaven!" (Jeremiah 44:17). Will this baby (Jesus) never be weaned? John saw Him on the island of Patmos and what does the Bible record? Revelation 1:17 reads, "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:" This is Jesus, the Jehovah of Israel!Read More

He thrives in the game of mendacity. The truth is that he cannot do otherwise. The path of credibility leads only to goodness, where Jehovah reigns supreme. Goodness nauseates what Lucifer had constituted for himself. Ergo, he trekked himself into the realm of obliquity. "I will give you kingdoms." "You will be gods to be worshipped!" The overwhelming potency of Lucifer's temptation was too much for the, already derailed, credulous angels. To their annihilation they followed the fraud of Satanism. Amen!Read More

LESSONS TO BE LEARNT FROM EASTER (i.e. PASCHAL or PASSOVER) part 2

Mohammed’s teaching on the crucifixion is quite an aberration. He did not mention the names of the apostatising disciples in the Qur’an of Allah. The historical arrest of Jesus saw Him with His eleven apostles. Which one of them did not accept Him as the Christ? Mohammed does not understand what the Hebrews call Christ else he would not have given this sobriquet to Jesus alone, eleven times, in the Qur’an. It is mashiyach (maw-shee'-akh) ‘1. Anointed 2. usually a consecrated person (as a king, priest, or saint) 3. (specifically) the Messiah, the Anointed One.’Read More

It was of utmost significance that Jesus would take them to Gethsemane to pray. Gethsemane means: ‘oil press,’ emblematic of the unction of the Holy Spirit, the LORD God seated in the holiest of the Temple, and who would eventually be sent to empower the Church. Jesus had to take them back to the Garden of Eden, where man’s sin commenced. His number is twelve. It was apropos that one of them would misbehave so that He would complete the numerical twelve. When He said, “Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder. 37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee (John 26:36-37), Jesus left the first group of 8 of the disciples in a spot. The second group of 3, and the third consisted of 1 of Him, alone.Read More

Believing in the sacrificial undertaking of reconciliation is the healer of man's sin of his nature. It is impossible for Mohammed's postulation to be true. If the lamb must be an unblemished one then only the historically sinless Jesus Christ is truly qualified to sail through this substitutionary death for mankind. He is the only person who has trod this sinful world without committing one single sin all through His thirty-three and a half years of His earthly sojourn. Any other substitute would have destroyed the Divine intended soteriological enterprise. Amen! Get born again!!Read More

Christ's firm command to them was to "....tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high." Which, O! Mohammad, of the Apostles got tired of being good and fervent Christians who decided to become followers of Mohammad, of Nestorius or Jacobus? Paul went only after Christians, so show me the scriptural or other documentation of Peter's killing of fellow apostles of apostasy.Read More

The God of the Israel had instructed them, about 1600 BC, in Exodus 12:11 “And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover.” This ‘Passover’ actually speaks of a protective covering. Jehovah will assume a covering God over them while the angel of destruction carries out the slaughter of the disobedient Egypt! A Christian, most definitely, is under the protection of the same LORD God. Amen.Read More

Jehovah’s Witness Myopic View Of Jesus (VIII)

One mind blowing, thought provoking thing He did in John 14:1, when He asseverated, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me;" was to display His equality with the Eternal Father! The truth is that it takes a certain affinity with the eternal Holy Spirit of Jehovah to apprehend the divine reality of His claims. Unfortunately for these Jehovah's Witness adherents, they hate to acknowledge the divine Personage of the Holy Spirit. A spiritual loss! Selah!Read More

Jehovah’s Witness Myopic View Of Jesus (VII)

He is both God and man: the son of man and the Son of God. Theologically it is called the hypostatic union. This is where God and man merge, forming an unprecedented compound of Jesus Christ. As a man, He is limited in wisdom, knowledge and power. As Christ, He is the Almighty, the wonderful everlasting Father. In Revelation 1:8 He calls Himself 'Almighty,' which is pantokratōr (pan-tok-rat'-ore) in Greek and it means: 'the all ruling, that is, God (as absolute and universal sovereign).' Isaiah announced Him as 'Wonderful' in chapter 9 verse 6. It is the Hebrew pele' (peh'-leh): 'a miracle.'Read More
