Spiritually, a Christian should not just attend Church services he must find something to do in one of the departments of its administration. This is where we speak of Labour of Love: in God’s House. The consistency of departmental voluntary work is so pleasing to God. This is what happens when you make God happy; it is found in 1Corinthians 3:14 “If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.” The word ‘abide’ is the Greek menō (men’-o): ‘to remain, to stay stand fast.” Sincerity of dressing and keeping is when one builds upon the foundation, not with hay, wood or stubble, but with gold, silver and precious stones: for Jesus Christ is the foundation. Rewards are proportionate to how you have dressed and kept the things that concern the Creator. Having fought the good fight, the material gold, silver or precious stones, when put to the fire test, he is holding a thoroughly purified object of his victory. Third reason is to get hold of Moses’ attention. Too bad it was that Pharaoh and his diviners could not apprehend that the number ten meant trials. Before the end of the ten plagues, Egypt should have given in to Jehovah’s request; unfortunately Pharaoh failed. I believe one of the reasons why God chose to direct Israel through a much longer route was to prove His Almighty point. Did it not look like the end of Israeli victory over Egypt when they suddenly had their backs against the cul-de-sac (the Red sea)? As the faithless Israelites scurry left and to the right like caged rodents, I see the LORD God seated in mirthful muse, knowing fully well that as the covenant keeping Jehovah, Israel is quite safe. The position of Pharaoh (emperor of world superpower) when Israel occupied Egypt typifies the global rulership of the Antichrist. When God decides to pour His wrath upon the earth, the Christians, His body on the terra firma, will not participate in the Divine unleashed ire. Unlike the Pharaoh, who is not the ultimate man of perdition, the son of Lucifer, Israel could live with his evil representative on the earth. Knowing that nothing is too hard for Him, sometimes He waits until one has lost all hopes, and completely distraught, then the LORD makes the miracle of divine entrance. At age sixty-five, who would expect Sarai to exhibit a showstopping sublimity of pulchritude? The same woman, the wife of Abram, could not produce any life from her matrix. There is every reason to believe that she had married Abram fifteen to twenty-five years earlier. When everything around them protested vigorously against the possibility, Jehovah rose to make nonsense of impossibilities. They were well stricken in their ages. Sarai’s procreative machinery had completely died. Time was most unfavorable to childbearing for them. What did God do? He ignited the feasibility of bârâ, the Hebrew word for ‘create – out of nothing'. God called that which is not as if it was. He must do things in style. It was a must for Sarah’s dead body to respond to the power of bârâ; leading to the bundle of laughter in Abraham’s household. Who showed Joseph all those dreams? Who empowered him with the accuracy of dreams interpretations? It is the LORD God, Who had made covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Why would the Architect of Joseph’s destiny allow him to go through all those harrowing experiences, knowing full well that Joseph could have been killed? The One of celestial Majesty is not just God; He is the absolute personification of Omniscience, of Omnipotence and of Omnipresence. If God does not do things in style who will? Selah! While the soul is the animal life, the spirit is the principal seat of his life. It is the apogee of intelligent life in creation. What went into creation of Adam alone was a whopping complexity of thirty trillion cells. Amazing! For some reasons God’s recreationism assessment of the Day Six was, “Very good”. The grand stage of Lucifer’s entrapment had been put firmly in place. God’s suitable vicegerent has been installed. That first marriage must represent the eternal marriage of the Church to the Lamb. In the ventilation of the vaticinatory erudition of Isaiah, Jesus received sobriquets of, Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6). The Hebraic pele' (peh’-leh) is the English ‘Wonderful’, meaning: 'miracle (extraordinary, hard to understand thing).’ This is the reason why I have always maintained that Jesus is the most enigmatic Person to tread on the surface of terra firma. The phenomenality of the miraculous is exclusively God’s métier. The look-alike of miracle, seemingly, is the demonic magic – fraught with manipulations of Satanism. It is purely miraculous: the Incarnation – when God became a man. The ancient of days became the Infant of days. Sheer act of miracle it is that the Eternal King, our Saviour, Jesus Christ, continues to sit in the sacerdotal office of the celestial Tabernacle for the preservation of man’s redemption. When we go through difficulties, Satan makes us believe God is insensate to our predicaments. The face of Jesus Christ is ‘an exact copy’ of the Eternal Father, ever seated on the empyrean throne. This enables us to have perfect understanding of Philippians 2:6 “Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:” which has the Greek morphe (mor-fee') for the English ‘form’ meaning not only: ‘form but (intrinsically) fundamental nature.’ Jesus does not only look just as the Father, He, intrinsically, is, fundamentally, of the Divine nature. Spiritually speaking, Jesus, and none other, holds the tripartite offices of the King, Saviour and the High Priest of the redeemed body of Christ who will live like kings and priests to the glorification of the Most High. Can there be another High Priest other than Jesus? Can history of the universe point to any other person who did tread upon this terra firma for decades and committing not a smidgeon of sin? Appropriating a certain Divine consanguinity to us having got born again, God’s Fatherhood of every follower of Jesus makes him a holy sibling of the Second Member of the Godhead, Jesus the Saviour. It was the purpose of God to step into the Adamic fall, make use of the soteriology to create holy, Divine siblings of the Most High; and there is no wondering why our place in the heavenly courtroom is right by the One Whose seat– totally guiltless – is at the right side of the Majesty! Not allowing any encumbrance, Jehovah, like the warrior that He is, bare His great biceps before the whole world in the salvation of Israel. The true Israel is the body of Christ, the born again people of the world. As the veil of the temple incredibly tore into two when Jesus, about to die, cried in a loud voice, the great hand of God’s warring arm was made manifest to Satan and his demons, who stood too stupefied even to utter one word. It takes an individual of eternality to gain an entry into the sacerdotal office in the empyrean assizes. Only a Being of timelessness can, as a matter of legality, take the sacerdotal stand between a needy Adamic nature and the LORD God, Who sits eternally in heaven. Selah! Of truth He is the One Who prophetically sits on the white horse, called Faithful and True, and the Warrior Judge, Whose eyes were as a flame of fire; on Whose head sits crowns, and having a name none knew save Himself– is it not only God that knows what none has knowledge of? The Hebrew Jehovah is the Saviour. Jesus, the Divine King, is the manifestation of the unseeing Saviour. Salvation of mankind is the sole preserve of the Almighty God. The superstructure of the soteriology is the Person of the Divinity. This God of gods and Lord of kings as well is not different from the fourth Person whose presence, in the furnace of death-sentence passed by Nebuchadnezzar, the annihilating fire turned into a cool air conditioner. The word ‘Lord’ is Aramaic mare' (maw-ray') meaning: ‘a master.’ This King, Saviour and Priest is not, in any way, different in Divine essence from the Eternal Father.Read More
