THE COMFORTER (four)

The Comforter is expected to bring to remembrance what Jesus taught like no other teacher of the Word and one of the things He taught in the Sermon on the Mount is in Matthew 5:33-37. As many get born again, the Holy Spirit dwells in them forever. Only God can exist in more than one place, not to mention the over one billion of possible Christians of the world, as displayed by the Holy Spirit. Inside how many can Muhammad take a residence? The people of Christ’s address were His own following disciples, did anyone of them live to see Muhammad? The prophecy did come true ten days after the Lord’s ascension, on the day of Pentecost in sharp contrast to six centuries later of Muhammad’s entrance into Allah’s prophetic office. Most definitely, Muhammad could not have been the promise of ‘another Comforter'; he is too human, too detached from Christological facticity to measure up for the office the Comforter. This Comforter is scripturally the Third Member of the Godhead, being of the Divinity; is Muhammad the fourth member of the Godhead to possess the criterion of the Comforter? Is Jesus divine?Read More

THE COMFORTER (three)

The three Members of the Godhead constitute one God. The Trinity is one God, yet three; three but one in deed, thought and essence. It is an unimaginable conundrum. Jehovah is good. The adjectival case of this Divine goodness does not exist in grammatical comparative or superlative sense. Its uniqueness makes the Divinity the only good One. Good, from divine point of understanding, cannot, in any way be adversely affected by evil of any gargantuan fiendishness. The evil spirit of misunderstanding cannot, in any way, wage any successful war of separation against the Members of the Godhead. Muhammad, obviously, failed to understand that each of the distinct Personage of the Trinity is not only the Omnipotent, each one of them is omnipresent; each One of the Triune distinction of the Godhead is properly an Omniscience; if so, how could any other entity or entities gain intrusion into the affairs of the all-knowing prepossession of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit? It is an impossibility! The Allah of Muhammad, who taught his prophet this falsehood concerning separation of the Godhead, is not all-knowing, to have delved into the disparagement of the Bible. (Qur’an) An-Nisa’ 4:157 “And [for] their saying, “Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.” And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.” Who told Muhammad that Jesus was not crucified? It is Allah, a god bereft of scriptural facticity. Do we not read of Jesus as He chided the disciples for unbelief after His resurrection? The extant Comforter, whose physical presence was with the apostles in John 14:16-17 is none other than the Personage of John 14:18 “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” How possible will Jesus, who would have been seated in the heavenly assizes, be able to come to them? The three Persons in the Godhead are intrinsically one. Is the Holy Spirit not the Spirit of the eternality of both the Father and Son? Romans 8:9 reads “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” Of the Holy Spirit it says in Galatians 4:6 “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.” In a malicious attempt to bring Muhammad into the glorious light of the Bible, for religious recognition, they twist the Islamism of the Qur’an and teach that Jesus told His disciples to expect another prophet, using John 14:16 as biblical validity of Muhammadan emergence as the prophet, in fact, according to Muhammad, the only prophet after Jesus Christ. When someone decides to employ lies in propagation of whatever cause, I feel very happy; knowing fully well that telling lies only gets one backed for just a little while owing to the transiency of falsehood. Does it not say, “…the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things,?” which makes me begin to wonder if Muhammad got his endowment of omniscience by Allah: for it takes the faculty of all knowing to achieve the teaching of all divine things. It also reads, “…and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”Read More

Whether it is ignorance or sheer determined crave for wrong didacticism of Scripture, the Jehovah’s Witness Society teaches that the Holy Spirit is just a mere wind. Charles Taze Russell’s (1852-1916) foundation of JW believes the Holy Spirit has no life, ergo, is not a Personage. So, what are we to make of this Scripture, “But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me” (John 15:26)? One of JW members who came to my house said, “But you know that the Bible says that inanimate things do teach of God’s existence?” Fine, but to let him know that he was still hooked like the captured fish out of water, I showed him John 14:26, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” I asked the JW guys, can a mere wind, as you put it, teach omnisciently, all theological things? They could not give an answer to the ponderous profundity of my enquiry; I, therefore, proceeded with, “He must be the eternal Omniscience to know all things!” Showing them from God’s protocol, the Bible, I opened to Acts 13:2 “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.” Is this not the Christ-promised Comforter? He is not only dwelling amongst them, He speaks words of intellectualism to their hearing ears, and also, He makes appointments of Apostleship, which is purely of the Godhead. Amen.Read More

FOLLOWING THE LORD GOD OF THE BIBLE (2)

From the beginning of Adamic life man had loved to follow the Creator. The Devil knows how to get you to unfollow the LORD God. Lucifer went all out to establish religions with the malicious motive of deviation from the righteous path of the Word of God. The religions tend to wear clothes of righteousness but incessantly deny the power thereof. The Word of God is Jesus. Christ is seen in these religions but not one of them teaches John 3 verse 3. They will vehemently disagree with John 3 verse 16. Judas Iscariot wore a form of godliness, following Jesus Christ for three and a half years. But Judas denied himself the power of reconciliation, very much like Cain of old. God spoke to Cain in Genesis 4:7 “If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.” It was a Fatherly solution to the sin of disobedience. But Cain’s predisposition is like the proverbial hunting dog that shuns the shrill of the “Let’s go home” whistle from the hunter lord and owner; it gets momentary lost and gets into the claws and jaws of ravenous wild animals. Following God is predicated on the obedience to His Word. Amen.Read More

Channel, virtuously, all the energetic help of your femininity towards the meet of your husband’s desires, as long as those intents of his bourne are not in direct antagonism to the express Word of God. To aid your official role as the help meet for him; submission is the key for the perfection of your uxorial mission. Every one of the disciples was involved in a business or carrier. They forsook all to perfect their walk with the Master – submission. How can any wife claim to be the help meet for the husband without the required submission? Only a Jezebel of a wife jettisons submission. Marriage is a missionary work. It brings heaven down to the earth. In empyrean assizes, bearing witness, there are three in the Godhead; and on earth, representing the unity of the Trinity is the Christian marriage where the twain (male and female created He them) exhibit love and submission according to the will of Jesus, the Grand Groom of the Bride, the Church. If you, the husband, should for one second, hold back the duty of love towards your wife, you are masquerading as a bastard. Try to imagine the resultant effect if Jesus Christ would not bring to consummation, the agapē of the Father’s heart: soteriology would be a mere mirage. The husband who will not adorn his wife with love is definitely an Antichrist. You must love your wife! Honestly, we do not seem to understand that our failure to appreciate the seriousness of marriage is the injection of ignorance by the unrelenting hard work of Satanism. Selah. We hardly remember that two things bring soteriological reality into actuation: the agapē of Jehovah and the heart of submission on the part of the believing born again Christian. Let the husband and the wife ponder seriously on this facticity. Amen. If you are not making money to sustain the family – as the family provider –, something is terribly wrong with you.Read More

Your husband cannot tell you not to pray. The Word of God has been in existence before the man, therefore, the husband cannot breathe superiority over the Word of God which categorically says, “Pray without ceasing” (1Thessalonians 5:17. He cannot tell you, “Stop going to Church” because he will be impugning Hebrews 10:25, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;” neither can your husband tell you to stop believing the spiritual headship of Jesus: for He is the great Shepherd of the sheep, that the God of peace brought again from the dead through the blood of the everlasting covenant (Hebrews 13:20). Forbidding us to lie is the Ninth Commandment; he cannot tell you to lie. Your husband cannot decide to have sex with you through your anus. It is not any different from sodomitical lust of Satanism as Paul makes us understand in Romans 1:27. The husband’s authority is within the limits of the Word of God.Read More

In like manner the wife’s ‘help meet’ stance is an official role. She holds the office of the other personality of the head of the family. This other person thinks, knows, wills like the husband and supports to actuation all his positive desires towards the service to God, as a family man. She becomes the other head that gives credence to proverbial two heads are better than one. The woman positions herself as the prayer warrior of the home. Her loyalty to her unflinching support to the husband’s aspirations provokes divine accelerated answers to the family’s prayer requests. The true position of the husband and the wife, albeit not three in number, is akin to the close operational quiddity of the Trinity. They must get it right, or else they are mere worthless actors. The wife, ergo, is under Divine spirit of mitzvah to stand as the greatest supporter of the husband’s priestly office. What does the efforts of her official role result to? The husband finds it much less arduous going through the rigours of family business. He is truly blessed, having found the good thing. A whole lot is at stake if couples fail to get it right. Selah! A headless body is a cadaver. Without the contribution of a husband the marriage suffers moribundity. Conversely, bodiless heads are freakish; without the wives' help meet submissions, what are brought before the Author of marriage are episodic proofs of parodic attempts. Read More

By definition, the Hebraic ‘ishshâh, that is, “Woman” of Genesis 2:23 does ‘surround’ her around her own husband – when consideration is given to ‘help meet’, ‛êzer (ay’-zer) in Hebrew, meaning ‘one who helps;’ and especially its primitive root, ‛âzar (aw-zar’): ‘to surround, that is, protect or aid.’ God’s intended wife is like what the bark does for the tree; and also like health personnel who remain visible at the beck and call in the surgery room, ready to place every tool needed into the professionally able hand of the surgeon. Every help given by the nurses must meet the call from the doctor. As nurses do not determine what tools are needed so must the wife submit to the husband’s will to run a successful marriage. Her submission is a powerful force, spiritually. The wife, knowing fully well of her husband’s unflinching commitment of love to her, her mind is put at full rest; she is able to inject her best into the marriage fabric. It takes two, really, to tango!Read More

You, as the husband, are the high priest; you are involved in God’s matters as far as the marriage is concerned. The high priest needs a true aid for the actualization of the spiritual role of involvement. The wife’s submission goes a long way to establish the marriage on the Rock of Ages. It is the additional praying tongue that translates to what mathematics cannot explain all because it is the LORD’s doing, culmin ating in marvelous spectacle. What am I saying? When the man of the house says a thing, that is the voice of one praying; when the woman of the man of the house says, “Yes,” to the man’s instruction, she becomes the second person of spiritual contribution that yields more than the expected times two, found in Deuteronomy 32:30 “How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?” Israel had gone the disappointing route of apostasy and the oracular afflatus wondered how one uncircumcised Roman soldier would chase a thousand army of Israel whose Rock is the true God.Read More

As the champion of the family, every member follows his direction and steps. The wife is the first follower of the man. As the primary source of the Woman she must follow his instructions, or else, the word of God will not say, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord” (Colossians 3:18). Hupotassō (hoop-ot-as’-so) is the Greek for ‘submit yourselves’ and it means: ‘to arrange under, to subordinate; to subject, put in subjection.’ What is the Bible saying? The wife should package herself and place it under her husband. This is why I am always advising ladies never to marry someone to whom they cannot submit their intellectualism and persons. Do not, for this simple reason, marry a fool; he will rule you in stupidity throughout your marital life. Colossians 3:18 says, “…as it is fit in the Lord,” meaning: your husband cannot tell you, the wife, not to pray, praise or worship God. But he is scripturally, as the head of the family, authorized to tell you to stop your career! That family home is God’s house, the Creator dwells with you, therefore, any disobedience as far as the LORD is concerned, is an affront to the Author of the marriage institution. When the wife decides to have control of the family, she is wickedly changing the divine order of the institution; she is not different from Jezebel. Jezebel was both a princess and a priestess of Baal worship. Her father was Ethbaal, or Ithobal, king of Sidon and priest of Astarte. Ethbaal had murdered Phelles his predecessor. Before the creation of Adam the female, God had instructed him on how to be in charge of the world; had given him full authority and endowed him with the intellectualism needed to be the lord of the terra firma. As Adam slept, God went away from him to build him a help meet for Adam, the lord of the earth. Would God have brought the Woman, like the bride’s Father would, and not brief His daughter, who was about to be wedded to the good man and the lord of the earth, on how to be the good Woman of Adam? God, the Father of Adam, by creation, is also his Father-in-law. They had been briefed to make the union work, prosper and last. Your marriage to anyone must come from the direction of the same God who instituted marriage. How can God instruct your choice of wife? Study the Bible, where He still talks to mankind. It is egregious stupidity to marry strictly for money. Marriage is never for sale. It will be an act of Satanism to sell your marital commitment for money. True love is not for sale. You cannot surrender your obedience to the husband in exchange for dollars – it smells of spiritual disgust. It is nothing short of an insult to God’s institution. You believe the politician needs a woman like you to help him to win the election, so, marriage to him is the best option. You are wrong. As long as marriage contact does not preach and lift up the name of Jesus, it is an exercise in futility. Marriage is strictly God’s business; its orientation finds its roots in the Word of God.Read More

Were there not thousands and millions of surrounding fascinating objects to keep his newly created jaws agape for ten years? Truly, he did not go through loneliness because the word ‘alone’ is the Hebraic bad (bad): ‘properly, by itself, besides, a part, separation;' it comes from its root: 'bâdad (baw-dad’) which means: ‘be separate, be isolated.’ I do agree with the explanation of Rev. Chris Okotie which says that the best definition of the versicular ‘alone’, the Hebraic bad, is ‘different’. According to the definition of bad God simply said, “not good that Adam should be different;” when ‘separation’ as its proper definition is taken into scriptural consideration. One aberrancy of biblical exegesis is its treatment à la human gregarianism instead of its theological facticity. How can you fail to understand that before God introduces an institution, He would have made a conclusion of it in heaven? If marriage prefigures the union between saved souls and the Lamb, did the Christ ever experience loneliness to need uxorial companionship – in theology? Like the One he adumbrates, Adam must need to take a wife – theologically speaking.Read More

I hear some people make asseveration that Christianity is not necessarily linked to every earthly problem. Quite untrue, I must make unteachable, the didacticism of wrong mindset of human calculation. Christians are followers of Christ; they follow Him because they are well aware of the One they have decided to follow. Does it occur to human reasoning that the first human couple was a practitioner of Christianity? They were God’s children. Jesus said to His disciples, “When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name;” and this verse definitely laid the foundation of divine brotherhood, in Luke 11:2. If the first of human creations were made in the likeness and also the image of the LORD God who entranced Eden every cool of the evening, is there any cause not to believe that they bowed in the latria before their Creator, who happened to be the pre-Incarnation of Jesus Christ? If the prototypes worshipped and followed the Christ, Christianity is irrefragably the established way of life in the agreed counsel of Godhead, even as it obtains in heaven.Read More

Revelation 1:8 “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Alpha and Omega are words that meet with divine protocolary. Being the first and the last of Greek alphabetical characters of word productions, what it prognosticates is that every other letter in between those letters are definitely of Him. Is Jesus the Word of God? Then the conceptual intent of Alpha and Omega points to the fact that every word from or of the Divinity is definitely Jesus Christ. The Personage of Revelation 1:8 is the beginning and the ending, meaning that He has no beginning and no ending. He is the “which is” the Owner of the present time of creation. He is the “which was”, Whose existence goes beyond the eternality of the past. He is the “which is to come” the Master and the Lord of eternity to come. This Person of Revelation 1:8 is the Almighty, the Author of Christianity. Selah!Read More

Salvation of the soul is the true salvation, found only in the Christian Bible. Salvation is exclusively a theological question. Only the Creator, who goes by the Genesis 1:1 generic sobriquet of 'ĕlôhı̂ym which means ‘deities, magistrates and mighty ones’, has all it takes for the abrogation of the mortal sentence of Ezekiel 18:4 passed on human sinfulness, which vaticinates, “Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine the soul that sinneth, it shall die.” The sanguineous crucifixion of the Golgotha atonement changed everything, affording the second chance culminating in the volte-face turn from hellish approach back to life, brokered by the Author of creationism. Of the redeemed souls of Christianity Peterine couch reveals, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy” (1Peter 2:9-10).Read More

Being a born again Christian is the path that heads straight to the new and the living way established by Jesus Christ when He said, “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” (Matthew 26:28). Nicodemus went to meet with the very Foundation and the Head of the Church, the pillar and the ground of truth, where Christianity is practised. The new birth is actually midwifed by the Holy Spirit, God from above. ‘Except’ and ‘cannot’ are two strong negating terms showing the impossibility of salvation without going through Christianity founded by Jesus. Encapsulating the entire Bible is John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Salvation to all mankind through Jesus, whose atoning blood erases the sin that herds unbelievers into hell, is what John 3 verse 16 makes known to all. Where is this taught? The Christian Church. The eighteenth verse reads, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” You either come to Jesus and be saved, or go elsewhere which seems right in the sin contaminated perception of humanity and perish forever. Christianity awaits all and sundry; “Come unto me all that labour and are heavy laden,” Jesus calls out, and concludes with the most reassuring, “and I will give you rest.” Read More

Scripturally, whoredom is idolatrous practice. Any one or assemblage that worships not the true God is engaged in spiritual prostitution. There is one God. Serving another spiritually is to have forsaken the true God. The first marriage in the Garden of Eden was not only between God’s children, the LORD God is the Father-in-law of the pristine couple. In the eternal mind of God, He must marry the Church to redeem her. For this theological reason, it is a divine taboo to worship another god. Many so-called churches are institutions of Satanism. Religions that do not worship God in truth and in Spirit – Jesus being the truth, and the Holy Spirit being the Spirit of Truth – do so in fruitless vain. Jesus died, like Adam (before the emergence of the Eden woman), for the Church, established for the preservation of saved souls. The Holy Spirit, after the death, resurrection, ascension and His session on the right hand of the celestial Majesty, continues to nurture the Church: providing the Church with pastors, evangelists, prophets and the enabling power to go marching on, till the day of the rapture. Better Not Make The Mistake (5)

Cain’s decision to dishonour God’s Fatherly advice led him to the first Adamic murder charge and guilt. Consequently Cain became the first Antichrist: for the LORD God of his encounter is the Christ in His pre-Incarnational manifestation. What happened to those who turned deaf ears to the one hundred and twenty years of Noachian evangelism? Did they all not suffer annihilation save eight, Noah and his immediate household? David made the ungentlemanly mistake of not taking his eyes off the nakedness of the bathing Bathsheba. What was the end result? Lust, adultery and deceitful cover-up which culminated in David’s guilt of treacherous murder of Uriah, Bathshba’s husband, were the eventual results. Could David have really done that evil? Better not make this mistake. Above all, the most nefarious commitment of sin is to live throughout your lifetime refusing to do John 3 verse 3, which reads, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Why should a man be born again? “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23); what brought sin to the world is found in Psalm 51:5 “Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” Man was born a sinner, from the womb of motherhood. Spiritual progeny, midwifed by the Holy Spirit is what born again is about. Getting born again requires unequivocal faith in the finished work of the cross: believing that Jesus is the Son of God; that He died for your sin; that He arose from the dead; you must believe in His Lordship, on account of which, you have decided to receive Him as Lord and Saviour. Getting born again is a conscious effort on the part of an individual – to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. You cannot afford to make the mistake of remaining unregenerate spiritually. John 3:18 says, “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” Selah! Read More
